"A negative for the campaign, a bad campaigner, all about her, very demanding, a drag on her husband."

Not to mention John-the-Baptist Edwards...truly scary and of course Kerry himself - King of the Polls...a more indecisive 'could have been' never came so close to being POTUSA.

Hey, Katie, the Republic is alive and well with George W. at the helm – get over it, Socialism just ain’t for America and Americans!

This is the wicked left at its best. They all speak of coming together and just like in 2000 they start right away at slamming Bush and trying to keep the country divided.
The left is very affraid of America slipping back to the standards and morals it once had.
The best thing we can do is stay away from the so called "Mainstream Media" even when they have a person of principle of there. They do nothing but divide and keep the nation in turmoil, that is what they live for. I am not to sure we can consider W's win a victory,I look at it as a second chance this nation has been given to turn back to the standards and moral values that have made us great. We must always be aware of the wicked left but must keep them and the drivers, the MSM at arms length. We should do all that is in our power to destroy the MSM and the way to do that is stay away from them in great numbers. Let them sow their discord and all rot together but by us watching we give them credence they don't deserve.

I guess the people at NBC feel it is ok for Katie to insult the majority of Americans by wearing black when the President wins reelection.

"Rendell: "This is not a time for hand wringing and soul searching. If not for 9/11 and Iraq we'd be talking about Pres. Kerry."

Blah, blah, Europe would have elected Kerry, blah, blah, Clinton would be elected for life if he could, Blah, Blah, Right Wing Radio hate speech, blah, blah, blah, blah.

Message to Democrats, just do the right thing: Shut The F*ck Up

"Rendell cited the failure to respond quickly to the Swift Boat Vets, contrasting this with Bill Clinton's rapid response approach."

I've heard this argument repeatedly, but there was no response, quick or otherwise.

What could they possibly say or do to refute the Swift Boat Vets? The real reson they didn't respond to this is that they knew the SBVets were telling the truth. If Kerry had taken them on, he would have been utterly and totally destroyed.

First off .. President Bush is not far right and

Second .. he has tried a number of times to meet them in the middle and they have continuously slapped him in the face

Personally ... I would just tell the left to go pound sand ..

Either the left wants meet half way or they don't .. but that is up to them

What's Ed Rendell doing on TV so much. He should be counting the military absentee ballots in PA unless he wants to dis-enfrachise those who are giving so much for this country.

Russert: "The party has to come to grips with itself. There is a disconnect in large parts of the country with the Dem party. Dems have to find words, language to speak to people of faith."

And this comment by Timmy ... the words mean nothing if you don't back them up

For YEARS the Dem Party has been all talk and no action

Rendell cited 1964 and LBJ's huge victory, whereas by 1968 the Republicans had won back the WH.

The Democrats have been citing this example for the last 20 years! LOL. They still don't get that they are out of touch with the mainstream of middle America, and are destined for minority party status for some time to come.

As for Russert indicating that the Dems have to find a way to reach people of faith, it might help to have a candidate who doesn't believe that a "prayer" is God bless America, as did Kerry yesterday.

And did anyone in the MSM talk about Kerry's one liner that "we all need to come together and win the war in Iraq", or was this buried?

Why couldn't this be translated into victory? There must have been some problems in strategy."

There was nothing wrong in the strategy. 7 million more people voted for President Bush in 2004 than in 2000.

That's not strategy, that's reality. People LOVE President Bush, people TRUST President Bush.

Got this quote off the Luciane site, a very good quote.

Could have been one of the problems.

"Gee, what might've happened to all the young voters? Well, consider this: You're not allowed to vote unless you've passed your 18th birthday. In order to have any birthdays at all, you have to have been born. And over the past 30 years or so, many Americans have ended up not being born. "

Russert: "The party has to come to grips with itself. There is a disconnect in large parts of the country with the Dem party. Dems have to find words, language to speak to people of faith."

Note that once again, the Dems are addressing the issue in superficial terms. They discuss the need to find ways to "speak" about values, about the need to find "the right language," rather than looking into their souls and realizing that their values are simply out of synch with those of most Americans.

Excellent analysis.

The American people have spoken loud and clear -- gay marriage was defeated in 11 states, polls show the populace does not support abortion-on-demand, and yet -- the Dems will not/cannot admit the truth. Instead, they seek "the right words" or the "the right candidate" to promote the same agenda that caused their defeat.

As long as arrogance and contempt for religious beliefs and family values continue to guide the Democratic party, they will fail.

Mr. Russet, don't you understand that the people of faith see through your lies and agendas no matter what "language" you put them in? You can talk the talk but we see that you don't walk the walk.

I heard Fox and Friends reading part of the Newsweek article and it reports Kerry saying during the campaign "I can't believe I'm losing to this idiot".

Kerry really is just as nasty as we all perceived; it was not us being "mean" to think and say so.

As to the dems and their moral values business, I heard Al Sharpton on Hardball last night say, as the panel discussed "what went wrong", that the dems had failed to redefine "moral values". My thought was he was so wrong. Most Americans could see the attempt to redefine (acceptance of gay marriage or else you're a hateful bigot) moral values and it was rejected.
