There was a web site where people around the world could vote for the US president. The logic was that the US president will effect their lives - and he will indeed.

I have no trouble with their votes being counted and binding upon our electoral college - if they are willing to pay their taxes, change their form of government to a republican form of government, ratify the US constitution, have elections for all levels of their civil governments, send their boys into war with ours, and most of all pledge an allegiance to the American flag and the one nation it represents under God.

Dear Independent Editors,
There is a reason the sun now sets on the British empire. Like chicken little cover your heads you children of Neville Chamberlain the sky is coming down. Leave us Americans to our cowboy presidents and hero military that frees the world. Clutch tightly to the pictures of Abu Ghraib where a few fools did injustice to others who live to see our justice make the fools pay. Push aside the bodies of 300,000 lost children, mothers fathers, sons, and daughters who lied side by side in the mass graves of Iraq. It's ok, tell yourself you are the bright ones , the compassionate ones , the refined ones who, unlike a now lost England, would be on UN resolution 19,000 against those pesky Nazis who are at least good business partners. But as you put yourself to sleep on the pillow of your lost morals know you will be safe because we Americans pity you. We will always keep you safe out of a sense of duty, honor and history, but you might want to pray while your nodding off just in case their is a danger in the night, WE STAY THIS DUMB!
