Who in 2008?
Cornpone | 4 Nov 2004 | Cornpone

Someone asked earlier tonight who we should consider for office in 2008. I know this might sound crazy and I don't know too much about him other than the more recent epic movies he has made, like the "Passion" but what about MEL GIBSON? Unless I heard wrong I believe he was born as an American citizen. Just a thought. What say you?

Well for the Republican ticket how about Dr/Ms Rice for President and for VP, Zell Miller.

Let's see if the Democrats can beat that combo.

Well...at least I think this debate is more lively than the previous...but I do think we will need something with more charisma next time around...Reagan did it before and I'm not willing to amend the Constitution for Arnie...

I'll second Jeb and Condi. Jeb has done an outstanding job for us here in Florida for eight years now.

The obvious front runner is Bill Frist.

He has admitted to capturing and dissecting stray cats from around the campus while he was in college.

I like Mel but not as a politician. I like Bruce but not his ideology on politics.

Mel Gibson will be making Passion of Christ 2 anyway.
Part 2 is where they beat the crap out of one of the soldiers for 2 1/2 hours!

Since the Dems have been whining the last 4 years that President Bush wasn't elected in 2000 (selected, not elected), it would seem to me this was his first election. Therefore, he should be eligible for re-election in 2008. George W. Bush/Cheney 2008.

Hey, just reaching out to the libs here by embracing their claim. I'm a uniter, not a divider.

I understand Perry is weak on the 2nd Amendment. Do you have any information one way or another?

Isn't it kinda too early? Maybe the candidates haven't been born yet?

I think the constitutional age requirement eliminates the possibility of running toddlers ; 0)

Ya beat me to the post! Mel is a born New Yawker as I recall, then moved to Aussietown as a nine year old.

I say let him run for Governor in CA.

BTW my predictions for the Dems? They'll start running their celebs -- like Al Franken, etc.

I like Mitt too. He could probably bring NH, VT, and ME back to the fold.

What about John Engler?
