Scarborough Country - Joe Scarborough's Predictions Were Right
Scarborough Country ^ | 11/3/04 | Scarborough Country

Had an neat montage of Joe's top election predictions of the year and then a clip right after each of how they came true, with rock song singing "I Told You So" playing in the background! LOL Pat joked that if we had been watching Scarborough Country this past year we could have gone to bed early.

"We people in Flyover Space watch the liberal mainstream media scramble frantically every election trying to explain why we conservatives won't win, and last night they fell flat on their face."

"Pat, after the third debate, when the mainstream media went on and on about how Kerry won the debate, you know who was saying he didn't- you, and me."

"Kerry didn't connect with the heartland and the moral values there, men and women of faith have been ignored in the past, and last night they got their revenge."

(Exit polls say moral values were the most important factor in choosing the President)

"I've heard over and over how the Democrats expected to turn out all the millions of young voters to vote for them, and guess what, it didn't happen. What did I tell you, the youth will leave you at the altar every time."

Pat: Why did Kerry lose? Joe: "He's a Mass. liberal, easy to define that way, but I think the Swift Boat ads really did it, Kerry didn't respond right off to those, and they defined him at a critical time in the campaign."

Last night I had put up Joe's predictions that were proved out on my website. He was right about a whole lot of things.

Joe was on the phone from FL, and had the liberals on the panel agreeing that with him that he was right by the end of it.

I'm not surprised they are talking about Joe's predictions tonite. I was struck last night at how many times he made a prediction to that very liberal MSNBC panel, they didn't believe him, then it got proved out and they had to eat crow. Some of it things he had been saying for months. He was on the ball last night.

The looks on Chrissy, Ron Jr.'s and especially Andrea Mitchell's faces were priceless every time he proved them wrong. Great stuff.

Amazing that he made it up to NY to be on that panel for 8 hrs straight out of the sick bed with his back injury, determined to be one of the few Bush advocates up there representing. That's dedication.

I would dearly love to have seen Poodle Reagan's reaction to the Bush victory.

Someone needs to stick a pin in Joe's ear - his head is getting larger than O'Reilly's. Joe is usually right on, but I can't stand watching this rude and pompus @ss.

Nope... the entire Hardball panel last night looked like they'd been sucking on lemons. As for FNC... Eleanor Clift is still ranting about "this is no mandate", and Susan Estrich.. well, I wonder if she'll show up on a milk carton before she appears again. She was pretty uptight on election night. Hee hee hee...
