Just to drive home what transpired today, and to turn their own words back on them, 'Rats need to see this little quip over and over to undo the brainwashing they underwent after 2000. Perhaps some t-shirts and bumper-stickers will suffice.
Excellent! I like this-
W
Elected
NOT
Selected
Click on my FReeper page and read up on making your own political bumper stickers. It's easier than you'd think.
I disagree. By emphasizing this, we suggest there is some validity of the initial 'selected, not elected' myth.
Now you know how great it feels for Sox fan to put that 19-18 chant to rest!
Elected not selected both times, actually.
Nah, I thought about that. However, the feelings of the 2000 election are now past, swamped with new grief. This is just to get their minds straight about what just happened.
Yeah, I need the admin mod to change the title for me, by adding an 'ED' to the end.
Bookmarked. Thanks.
BTW, Randall my man...what happened in CO? I know Bush won, but Salazar won the senate seat, we lost a congressional seat, and we lost control of both houses of the state legislature. Is this a worry for the future?
Ooops, I thought you were referring to the missing 'ED' at the end of the title. See #7.
I saw someone around here had a K/E Graphic that had "Rejected, Not Elected" on it. I liked that one.
W
Elected!
Both times! ;)
My husband respectfully requests that you stop reading his mind, for he thought of this one earlier this afternoon, to torment a pacifist Bush-hating co-worker.
He's going to print out a flyer and stick it on the guy's windshield. :D
Personally, I'm just glad that I never have to refer to Teresa Heinz Kerry as the "First Lady", when I remain unconvinced that she's a "lady" in the first place. She's a crass, vulgar woman that only tricks herself into believing that she has a pedigree.
IMHO, Pete Coors didn't take my advice. I emailed him every chance I got and tried to advise him on so many things, but his campaign just kept on looking like his beer commercials.
Pete didn't engage the Hispanic vote, either.
On the plus side, Salazar won nothing. His party's STILL in the minority. And, I believe he'll be a one-termer.
Ah, it's so nice to have a relatively clean election this year. Bush won decisively in electorals and popular vote, Leftists won't have that crutch the next four years.
Precisely!
What are you talking about? I AM your husband. I'm just so hooked on FR, that I posted this from my laptop while I was in the loo. (just kidding; I hope you have a sense of humor.)
I think some would-be Kerry voters were turned off by Mamma T, and instead voted for Pres. Bush.
