Darn, I was hoping Powell would be the first to go. Next day I'd like to see Norman Mineta take a hike.
It's time for Bush to FINALLY take out the leftover Clinton trash in the government too. Get rid of the turn coat, 'tell-all' book writing traitors that are left.

He is one of the most hated by the left. Yep, he is Hitler's Gestapo chief according the Eric Alterman and the Village Voice crowd.

Guiliani to replace Ashcroft, who is resigning to accept a supreme court nomination in replacement for retiring Rehnquist.

I was expecting Powell to be first to pull the ejection handles. He's way out of step with the Bush foreign policy.
And just what was he trying to prove with that statement about Taiwanese independence the other week? He'd better be careful with that stuff. The PRC might take a statement like that as a "green light" to move on Taiwan.
I'd also like to see Condi Rice run for office in California. She needs some electoral experience before she runs on a national ticket. I'd like to see somebody takeout Boxer or Feinstein.

And, we are fortunate enough to be deep on the bench with talent within the R party.

It's too bad. I think Ashcroft has done a terrific job, he was villified by the leftist crowd.
I wonder whom will Bush appoint to replace him.

Oh man.........all of us in Missouri know what a big "sweetie" he is. I homeschooled my daughter while he was our Governor, and WHAT A GREAT GUY he was/IS! If he does take a break, it will be a well deserved one, God bless him.

"Not Rudy,
Has his sights on 2008, no need for additional scrutiny."
If he has his eyes on 08, He has to do something between now and 08'. Not just appear on talk shows talking about 9/11 for the next four years.
