true, but let's let the 2nd term start first before they start leaving.

Personally I think the entire cabinate should resign, then the president can ask any he wants to keep to stay on. I worry he might keep weak members out of sense of loyality. If they all resign then wont have that problem.

It is commonplace for major cabinet changes in a second term. I would expect at least four in this Administration in the coming months. No biggie.

However there is JFK, after all, he was a prosecutor.... JFK would be a perfect Ambassador to one of the former French colonies in Africa. Take Teresa back to her homeland. :-)

I'm betting Powell. It is clear he has been unhappy for sometime. His soul was stolen by the career talkers at Foggy Bottom.

I believe that tradition holds that all cabinet members will tender their resignations thus giving the president the option of asking them to stay or replace them.

I don't want Giuliani running for Prez, but he'd be a good A.G.

That's what I thought. Shouldn't the gallstone surgery have made Ashcroft recover fully.

Since we probably wont be able to sneak him onto the Supreme Court, can we give this job to Mark Levin?

Wish he wouldn't, but I understand. He has been trashed so bad, but the left will trash his replacement as well.

The rumor ( lot's of rumors out about the Cabinet these days- I guess the Left figure if they can't have their own cabinet they'll try to rumor ours into something they like ) is it's his health.
I'd hate to see him go, he's the best man in the administration.
