NEW YORK -- The announcement came over the loudspeakers at the Park Slope Food Co-op shortly before noon: Sen. John Kerry was conceding. People looked at each other stricken over the soy milk and organic vegetables.

Pilates instructor Rachel Priebe ran weeping from the store.

"I'm heartbroken," said Priebe, 30, sobbing gently as she loaded her bicycle on a Brooklyn sidewalk. "The rest of the country must be pretty out of touch with reality."

I'm sorry, but had I witnessed this I would have followed behind her, pointing and yelling, "Hey everybody! Check out the loser crying chick! Bwaahhhhaaa! Keep crying you big baby!! Waaaaahhh!!! Cry baby!"

I may be immature, but at least I'm not a big cry baby.

This story is an exaggeration. I work in a liberal office here in NYC and they were happy that Bush won. Most NYers accepted it and did not walk around with sad faces. This is Bull!

Well I was being pretty immature. I was laughing, I was giddy. I put my 7-11 Bush coffee mug right up on my dashboard. Tomorrow I will paste my car window with Bush pics to celebrate!

Of course there were the spitting and raving ones talking about ignorant rednecks, stupid people, and Christers having the gall to vote in THEIR election.

I sat back and enjoyed it silently, poker-faced.

Liberals really believe that government is what makes you happy. Conservatives realise that you make your own way in life.

I am actually sad for these people.
