Those "Blue" States are Really PURPLE

Posted on 11/03/2004 2:35:21 PM PST by gentlestrength

Across the world the red/blue map of America's voting preferences is being shown. Wrongly we hear “So all the blue states voted for Kerry. The West Coast is all Kerry” NO! I am proud to say that in my California 4.4 million voted for Bush, to Kerry's 5.5 million. We are not a totally God-forsaken state!!! And...

And surprising to me, even liberal Washington and Oregon were almost split evenly supporting Bush! 773,000 for Bush to 871,000 kerry, only 92,000 difference. This is even less than the Ohio count which Democrats thought way too close to call last night. Washington state had 877,00 for Bush, only 100,000 less than Kerry. Two more west coast stats, Alaska and Hawaii had 151,000 and 191,000 Bush supporters respectively.

The West Coast is NOT all Kerry. God has not forsaken it yet.

6,434,956, that's SIX AND A HALF MILLION people just in those "blue" states voted Bush. SIX MILLION. Heard that number before?? Anywhere? SIX MILLION. Is that amount of people inconsequential, or unimportant, or non-relevant, or a meaningless amount??? SIX MILLION.

The same holds for those other "blue" states in the Northeast of America/ They aren’t blue, they’re PURPLE. They’re not “Kerry” states. EIGHTEEN MILLION people voted for Bush in those states. 18,174,711 according to the C-span.org statistics today. “Those states are always pro Democrat” is the claim. NO. EIGHTEEN MILLION people voted for Bush's values in those states. That’s three times the six million figure above, in case your math is slow, EIGHTEEN MILLION. If six million individual people have value and worth, do THREE TIMES that many people? Not to the Democrats. But to anyone who can think, these numbers are magnificent. 57 MILLION people voted for President Bush and his views.

America is ultimately not blue, not red, but both, royal purple. Each person matters. And we needed a leader who believes that, and who doesn't murder people before they can come out of the womb. We need Bush who even believes in the value of our enemies' lives, and who has given us the 'best' war in history, with the least amount of military and innocent civilian casualties.

I'm looking forward to the " How they voted: County-by County" map. It should be even more red than the 2000 map.

It would be interesting to see a county map of CA and OR and WA to see what percent of the counties went for Bush and what percent of the counties for the lying traitor and his flim-flam lawyer side-kick.

I bet the map would look a lot like the 2000 Red/Blue map showing 90% of the land mass/counties Red and only the densely populated, cockroach infested inner city/counties going for the two scumbags.

If anybody gets a hold of that map, please post here and ping me.

Although the Dem's failed at breaking the 'winner take all' rule for Electoral College votes in Colorado, I am seriously thinking of starting an initiative to do just that for California.

It is absolutely rediculous that 55 EC votes go to one party every election, when 45% of this state does NOT support that party.

I am serious about starting this process and would like to talk to other California Freepers about the possibility/probability for success, support, etc.

California needs to be split into North and South like the Dakota's and the Carolinas.

The decent people need a place to live without the influence of the socialists.
