Haven't we been told for four years that Dubya wasn't elected in 2000?

But Condi isn't. I prefer Rice/Guliani to Guliani/Rice.

Based on yesterday, unless something really changes, they're going to have to be very conservative socially. The evangelical vote was the main reason for victory yesterday.

Great point!!!! We should start the rumor and discussion train now!!! - LOL

If you want to win, you'll put a pro-lifer at least at the top of the ticket ... because conservative Christians, whether evangelical Protestant, Catholic, or Orthodox, aren't going to vote for someone like Giuliani. We won't vote for the 'rat candidate either; we'll stay home, leave that race blank, or vote for a third-party candidate.
And the GOP cannot win nationally without the social conservative vote. Period.

I'm sure there will be resistance from conservatives, but I suspect Guiliani will position himself to take it, particularly if Hitlery is the Dem nominee. Guiliani v. Hitlery ought to be a cinch for Guiliani.
I'm not convinced that Cheney will serve out 4 years, given his health. Whoever Bush nominates to take his place will have the inside track. Could very easily be Guiliani. Guiliani worked like a dog to get Bush re-elected.
