The Threat Matrix

The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger.

"Every morning, the president receives a list of the top ten terrorist threats - this list is known as the threat matrix."

A new message was posted in the last few hours by the Jeddah-based al-Qaeda-linked Al-Islah (Reform) society calling on Muslims to flee New York, Washington and Los Angeles in advance of major al Qaeda attacks in those cities. This is revealed by DEBKAfile.

Kimmie, it looks as though the weapon might be the more operative feature on the clock, having already shot up the "Noon" designation of Afghanistan and on its way to the "3:00" of Iraq. I get the feeling that the poster is referring to some event that happened recently in Afghanistan that is about to be visted on Iraq in the same way, and then Iran and Saudi Arabia in their turn.

Apologies if I've stated the obvious. Just my first impression on it.
