Tom Daschle and Nancy Pelosi cost us the election.
Congress needed to call for a paper trail. That would have given us Florida - because we won there. We won Ohio and Iowa, too. Greg Palast and Bev Harris warned us this is exactly what would happen and we thought we could go about business as usual. I have no doubts Kerry won.
The Bush gang blew up the WTC and killed three thousand Americans. They were prepared to cheat, to kill, to lie, to destroy all life on EArth, if necessary, to win. If more people had acknowledged Bush's complicity, at least to themselves, in 9/11, they would have expected this and we would have been ready to counter it.
Margie Shoedinger gave her life to warn us about Bush and we put her down and said the most horrible things about her for daring to warn us. We need to see these people for what they are.

At least be fair and fling the mud in both directions. In Oregon, a prominent Republican group was exposed recently for registering voters under a neutral moniker, and then trashing the Democratic registrations.
And no, this will not be over tomorrow, regardless of how the election turns out. Bush has evoked more visceral hatred than any other president in memorable history. Call him the Great Divider. There will be marches, protests...not all of them civil, starting tomorrow. Those family feuds and workplace schisms...they're going to get worse before they get better.
Last week, my friend and her husband stopped looking for houses to buy. They are seriously considering going to Canada if Bush wins. My mom put her head in her hands a few hours ago and went upstairs to bed, saying that she's not sure she can continue living in a country that would re-elect Bush (incidentally, she just became a US citizen last year, after living here for amost 40 years). Two other friends of ours called us from the Dominican Republic last weekend...they voted absentee and then got the heck out of Dodge- sold their land in New Mexico and won't return until the social and political climate improves. This election is extremely personal to a lot of people, and we will NOT put it behind us easily.
