One small step for Bush, one giant leap for the world at large (except for the terrorists).

Fox still won't call it, even at 97% of the vote and 350,000 votes up.

Did Peter Jennings make the FL call? God, I hope so. And how's Ohio doing, folks? Threads have been sparse the past 45 minutes or so. Thanks.

All the networks have different numbers now. They are all skittish about making a wrong call. Gone are the days where they would all follow one another with predictions.

For once, ABC is right! Palm Beach is 93% reported and it's a 4+ point Bush lead. There are NOT enough votes left on the table for Horseface to pull it out now.

This is excellent news. Ohio is looking very good for Bush, and there may be some other upsets.

I knew my beloved home state of Florida wouldn't vote for a Northeastern Dem.
