As far as Florida is concerned: It is unfortunate that all of Fox's calculators are broken, but I am glad that somebody took out a pencil and paper and did some 4th grade math. Bush took Florida.
To all of the folks in the trenches in Florida - Well done people! Well done indeed!

This is crazy. Bush is doing better in both OH and FL and the news media hasn't called either one of them.

Bush is only down less than 6k in NH with 35% left to report. I wouldn't sweat it right now.

Not so.
Due to reapportionment, Bush gets 278 with the same states as last time. He can give NH and still be at 274 without gaining a single state.

Kristol is correct. Everyone is being way too cautious at projecting this one. It is clearly in Bush's bag.

Even if Bush wins Ohio and Florida, he will need New Mexico in order to offset a defeat in New Hampshire! This is not going well... Umm, New Mexico is in the Pink, according to Yahoo.

If Bush gets Florida, Ohio, & Colorado, he wins!

The independent analyst on the B.B.C. has said the same thing.
It's really odd, he does seem to be independent, the B.B.C. usually lines up a right-winger, a left-winger, and an independent analyst (who just happens to be left-wing), but this guy's actually balanced.

I'm worried about Cuyahoga county, which is heavily democratic and has only posted 51% according to CNN. Even so, based on 2000 results per county, it looks favorable for Bush.

This is crazy. Bush is doing better in both OH and FL and the news media hasn't called either one of them. If they call Florida and OH for Bush, it is 99% that Bush will win re-election. Once that happens people go to bed and the audience disappears. Gotta keep people watching.

Nope. Bush doesn't need either NM or NH if he wins Florida and Ohio.
To: Holden Magroin
CNN.org has NM 52 Bush, 46 Kerry 51% in. Don't worry....

The census resulted in a net gain of eight electoral states to previous Bush states.
Losing NH is not a problem. It would be lovely to take NM or HI (or both) but we need to retain Nevada.

Even if Bush wins Ohio and Florida, he will need New Mexico in order to offset a defeat in New Hampshire! No we won't. Bush states picked up 7 electoral votes from redistricting. If bush were to win all of his 2000 states he would have 7 more electoral votes than he had in 2000.
