Headed for a Tie Right Now
Posted on 11/02/2004 8:27:08 PM PST by kpp_kpp
With current projections:
Assuming Kerry takes the NE and west coast plus MN, IA, IL, MN
Assuming Bush takes the rest with these up in the air: NV, NM, WI, and OH
That puts them both at 249 electoral votes.
NV 5 NM 5 WI 10 OH 20
If the first three go one way and Ohio goes the other then we are at an Electoral tie at 269 each.

Actually, I think the 1 vote from Maine for Bush makes it 270-268.

As Rush said yesterday, a decision by the House would be the ultimate win.

Which would mean a Bush victory and 4 more years of total insanity from the left.

Hmm, I checked your join date. Not a newbie.
But still a possible troll?
You do realize, of course, you counted MN twice for Kerry...

what about Hawaii?
and don't forget that 1 open electoral vote in Maine yet. What would the reaction be if the EC ended up 270 - 269

That is true, but the closest Kerry has been all night in Ohio has been losing by 4%. Since the earliest polls, Bush ahs been up between 4-6%. I think Bush wins Ohio.
