Absentee ballots mailed too late to get them back in Broward and Palm Beach Counties. Suing to extend the returning deadline in state to match the out of country deadline. Nov 11?
Surprise Surprise!

The margin is large enough that it may not matter. I'll look for a link.

Tell the ACLU to stuff it!

Bush is leading by 250,000. They reported 90,000 absentee ballots earlier...how many more could there be? And, given the military population in Florida, would they really go heavily for Kerry anyway??

A lawsuit? By the ACLU? You are just making that up!
To: The_Victor
In that case the state legislature should vote to award the electors to Bush and tell the ACLU to go to hell. I think we've all had enough of this meddling.

Suing to extend the returning deadline in state to match the out of country deadline. Nov 11? And they think that will help them?
I'd think that would just reap more military votes for Bush!

"Nov 11?"
Veteran's Day. No surprise.

They want to throw in Fradulent absentee ballots, plain and simple. I think the Supreme Court of FL and the US will slap the girly-men down. Nobody wants to go through this again!

yeah, but the electoral votes may not be able to be won by anyone tonight until those absentee ballots come in and are counted...

250K lead with only 12% of the votes to count (not including absentee -- likely very strong Bush).
Shouldn't matter.

Desperate attempt at theft in full swing.
Probably the numbers aren't there to reverse the Bush win, even if they do let the votes in.
But never underestimate the ACLU's dirty tricks, I s'pose.
