I made my vote at 6:15AM today. I was about 20th in line to vote at 5:58am. Many prayers & high expectations since then! May the force be with us.

It's been a long day checking precinct totals for David Vitter here in Ascension Parish. I'm very pleased that the secretary of state's office shows him winning 56% of the vote here. Torie once projected that a Republican candidate needs to win about 52 or 53 % of the vote in Ascension to carry Louisiana. If this result holds, all of the phone banking and neighborhood walking will be worthwhile.
