I dont' like this absenntee thing being done on Thursday,,,that tells the dems how many they need!
ok, i just got home about an hour ago, had to drive my mother to the polls, another vote for W :)
sorry - that's VA
Savage is losing his mind....Woodchuck Bill? dear lord...
It's way too early and thus far,the president is winning...as he shall!
Jump on in!
Bush catching up in Va. Ahead now I think.
Down one beer every time a state is called for Bush. Call in sick tomorrow.
This looks like the thread to be in on. Thanks for all the posters. Listening to Foxnews channell, hanging out here, and sending email updates to my co-workers.
I live in Lynchburg and had just talked to my brother who is from Chicago. He asked what's up with VA and wanted to know what the poll numbers were pre-election. I told him I didn't have any numbers but assumed Bush was leading since Kerry had pulled out 2 weeks earlier. Do you know any polls pre-election?
easley just won...
I'm thinking Bush has FL.

I'm praying he does.
Those betting sites plummeted because of faulty exit polling data. Same would have happened in 2000.
Remember... reports are that the GOP exceeds the Dems in absentee ballots in Florida by 154,000. This was counted and stated as fact. They won't be tallied until Thursday, per Fox news.
The media agreed to not make predictions until all polls closed in a state. Data is reported as it is reported by each state.
Virginia is turning purple as we speak. ;-)
Worry not, VA will be bright red before the night is over.
Looks like the "Define Marriage" referendums are passing in OH and a few other states. Hope these had a hand in bringing folks out to the polls.
Teddy Kennedy on NBC, barf!
I'm going with an Australian Shiraz... need to pace myself.
It's going to be a looooong night!
Yeah, why are people so bent out of shape about this. I thought after 2000 we wanted to value accuracy ahead of being the first to call a state.
This instant gratification BS is revulting. I'd prefer the networks not call any state until they are 100% sure. In fact I'd prefer they actually count up all the votes before they announce a winner.
