GOP sources on the scene in Michigan tell HUMAN EVENTS of "unbelievable Democratic illegalities."

According to one source, operatives from the United Auto-Workers union and MoveOn.org are already denying GOP election volunteers access to voter rolls.

Our sources also report that MoveOn.org members are campaigning inside the 100 foot perimeter.

When I voted, the worker could not touch my ballot, even to remove the strip-no touch allowed!

I agree. Measures should have been taken against voter fraud right after the 2000 screw-up.

"Serious news will not appear first on the DRUDGE gossip website," senior Kerry adviser Joe Lockhart told reporters.

Juanita Broaddrick says "hi." Putz.

Not sure. It was earlier today.  I had a brief and poor cell phone connection today will HLL and was barely audible but heard "...tearing down signs, police, city clerks involved" kind of stuff.

Send an email message to the Michigan Democrat Governor. Go here www.michigan.gov and tell her what you think about buying cars made in Michigan.

They can issue her a new ballot...the ballot already marked for Kerry is evidence of criminal activity by poll workers. I would be out there in front of the media and venting if my ballot was pre-marked for Hanoi John Kerry.

I am posting this here because I don't know where else to put it - hoping someone can help. Just voted in local precinct Ward 2, Precinct 38 in Grand Rapids. Machine is broken so the machine door is hanging open and ballots are being tossed in manually. Man said they called "downtown" Note - we have a RAT mayor, city clerk, etc.) but the lines have been busy. COMPLETED BALLOTS ARE NOT BEING TALLIED!! Then, when he tore off my ballot stub, he started to throw the ballot in the wastebasket and the stub in the broken ballot box - saw him do it - he said OPPS. Also, two women outside with something in their hands talking to voters
- don't know what they were up to. Left in a hurry to report possible fraud, going back there to check on those two women.

Anyone else in Grand Rapids area with machines not working?? Call GOP headquarters on Michigan St. Gotta go. Sorry about bad typing.

Oh, I agree but I do not think you can keep the spoiled ballot. Bush just has to win. And something needs to be done about the voting laws. I personally took two Kerry Edwards signs down from our polling place this morning and then called the party. Shortly afterward there was a sign indicating no electioneering beyond this point. What are MoveOn.org if they are not electioneering? They should be thrown out. Secretary of State in Michigan is Republican and regarding polls staying open late, I believe that she said tough in 2000 and closed them.

Voting report from Canton, MI: My wife and I voted this morning and were pleased with the experience. Our precinct was properly staffed and we saw four people challenged (not sure if they were technically "challenged", but the poll workers intervened and made sure they were voting properly).

There were two precincts voting in the same room, and two people were told that even though they had made it to the second station of voting, they were trying to vote in the 9th precinct when they were registered in the 34th (across the room). They would have to start the process over across the room. One lady had our precinct for her school board elections but another for all other elections, and she was sent away to vote in her proper precinct.

The last guy was told that he was registered at a business address and had been sent a letter telling him that he would have to re-register. He would not be allowed to vote unless he got his situation taken care of at the county elections office.

Our voting went smoothly, and I was very happy to see that our poll workers were efficient, firm and law-abiding (as far as I could tell).

Damn proud to be an American tonight!!!

Go W!

This was in today's Jackson Citizen Patriot (Jackson, MI):

"In Jackson's 6th Ward, the polls at Cascades Baptist Church buzzed with political activity.

Republicans had a poll watcher in place, Democrats had several volunteers from Moveon.org stationed outside, and voters waited patiently in long, twisting lines"

Jackson (the birthplace of the official GOP) is a Republican stronghold. The libidiots are desperate indeed.

There was a MoveOn.org lady inside the Allen School in Ann Arbor this morning. While she wasn't in the same room as the voting booths, she was in an adjacent room, where the voting line was, probably about 50 feet from the booths. I don't know what the rules are in Michigan.

Our sources also report that MoveOn.org members are campaigning inside the 100 foot perimeter.

My husband said that when he went to vote at our polling place in Sterling Heights this morning a MoveOn.org person was inside the 100 foot perimeter. My dear husband kindly pointed out the 100 foot mark to the young man, and said that if the guy wanted to talk to him he had to step outside of the perimeter. The guy did, and the husband just turned and walked away.

Yeah, there are plenty of things I take issue on with Bush. But, what's so horrifying about the notion of a Kerry presidency is the fact that the next president may get to nominate THREE justices, shaping SCOTUS for the next 20-30 years. And while a Republican president is always skewered for nominating a conservative, especially on the abortion issue, Kerry would be heralded for nominating a slate of radical left-wingers.

It's absolutely true, though: Clinton should've been wrung out over peddling pardons. He wasn't. The thugs that vandalized the White House should've been prosecuted. They weren't. And voter fraud should've been SHUT DOWN. It wasn't.

For thirty years, conservatives have watched from the high road as liberals effected a slow coup. If we don't figure out that the battle is in the trenches, and engage accordingly, we'll never take the country back.

My husband is UAW and voted for Bush, and I know plenty of UAW folks who can't stand Kerry because of his position on CAFE standards, among other things.
