It is a bit after 5am, but I just got woken up by a call from someone in the GOP who shared with me that the early voters and absentee ballots are suggesting that if the trend holds, we are looking at Bush 55, Kerry 45.
It comes down to this; TURNOUT. If our folks show up in numbers, it wont even be close and we will know by 10pm San Diego time that Bush has been reelected. If you get out there and vote, this thing is over TONIGHT.
You know what to do, so dont let the door hit you on your way out. GET OUT THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
bttt!!!
I've already voted and I can't vote again since I don't live on an Indian reservation.
Since Hawaii appears to be in play this year, what impact do you think the time zone will have on when we know the winner tonight? If the electoral votes are very close, we might not know until tomorrow morning once Hawaii's results are known, right?
I don't that will be a problem. The worry that I've heard from someone in the GOP was about voter fraud.
No matter what the situation is with regard to the electoral college votes in your state, we want the president to win the popular vote this time too. So vote.
Also, if anyone sees anything inappropriate or questionable at the voting booth or outside the voting location, mention the problem to the poll manager inside.
They are trained to deal with all problems and will have phone numbers of the person to call to deal with various problems.
If you feel the poll manager is overwhelmed with voters or did not respond to your complaint, call your Republican office or the Voting Commission in your town.
Freepers -- don't let the DNC pull any funny stuff today and don't be shy about asking for help from others in getting the problem corrected.
Long lines in suburban Atlanta (2+ hour waits)
Strong Republican Areas
I live in Oregon, state of mail voting, so I got out there (to the post office) a week ago.
To everyone else, though: GET OUT THERE. Before work, on your lunch break, after work, skip work. Take the kids or hire a babysitter. Take your friends (if they're GOPers) and relatives who don't have a ride. Get going!
Or Chicago.
Will vote on my way to work.
Fight to vote, vote to fight, fight to win (with apologies to the NFWS)
I pray you are right, by the way I voted last week.
I'm still hoping that you are RIGHT ON THE MONEY!
Defeat sKerry.
I'm with you! I honestly believe it is gonna be a landslide. Believe it!
VOTE AND JUST
