Dear Heavenly Father,
We adore You and praise You on this Tuesday morning. We seek You and revere You as Lord. We honor You with the words of our lips and pray that You will enable us to honor You with our deeds as well. You are Almighty, the one True God, and there is none like unto You in heaven, earth, or anywhere else. You alone are God.

Lord, we come to You asking Your forgiveness for our sins. For the sins of complacency. For anything we have done to displease You. We thank You for Jesus who makes our forgiveness possible - Who took our place that we might be free.

We lift up this election to You Lord. So many of us have been so concerned that it go well. Our country's future depends on it - and we know that with all the forces of evil at work, You are the only one who can make it turn out right. We ask for mercy, Lord, not judgment. We deserve that latter - but for Your sake and ours, we pray that You would defeat evil in this nation - reunify our Land around President Bush, and let Your glory be seen in all the earth.

Make this election decisive so that lawsuits etc., will have no teeth. Lord, defeat fraud whereever it is found - and let the sun shine upon this land again.

Go with us today as we vote. Keep all the poll workers and those voting safe. Keep the candidates safe. And may You be glorified in the ballot box today.

It is in the matchless and holy name of Jesus that I pray,
Amen.

Perfect scripture. I woke up this morning with a sense of peace that I haven't had in a long time. I will absolutely continue to pray that God will change hearts in the voting booth, especially the hearts of his people who would vote for Kerry, that they would instead stand with their brother in Christ, President Bush.

You are right, God is at work and not just in us. My mom was talking with a lady who is a life long democrat, never voted for a republican in her life. The lady went to vote, with every intention of voting for Kerry. When she got in booth, so said she didn't know why, but she couldn't bring herself to vote for Kerry & voted for Bush. My mom said, if you knew this lady, you would know this is a miracle because she is not just a normal democrat, but a pushy democrat.

Also, last night when making calls for Bush-Cheney in Ohio I talked with a lady who is a democrat. She was voting for president Bush. Please pray for Hazel so she can make is to vote has her leg is in a cast, she just had surgery and doesn't know if she should go out in the rain. I will be calling her local RNC to see if they can help. I don't know the election laws in Ohio. So pray for her and other democrats voting for the president, that they will get to the polls.

Isn't it wonderful when God gives us a glimpse of His hand at work this election!
"Offer to God thanksgiving, and pay your vows to the Most High. Call upon Me in the day of trouble, I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me."

May the Holy Spirit descend upon voters today, guide them, reassure them and cast away all doubts. May the Lord be with George Bush, his supporters and those who doubt in him. May the voters come to realize George Bush is the best person for the job in the ever changing and dangerous world. May those who don't know you or reject you--find you and be with our country on this very important day.

I offer this prayer on behalf of all who believe and pray for those who do not. In your Holy name I pray.

"He that ruleth over men must be just...ruling in the fear of God."

Lord, we ask that if it be thy will, George W. Bush is re-elected. He is a Godly man who puts you first in his life and thinks of others before himself. But whatever happens, we know that you are in control of history and that you will have the ultimate victory. Thy will be done.

Heavenly Father,

The day has finally come. The day that we have all lifted our voices to You about. We again ask You to be merciful to this country. We acknowledge the sins of our nation and ask that You forgive us. We pray that You give President Bush a great victory today, so our nation is lead by a man who puts his trust in you. He's a man who is imperfect, maybe his mis-speech is meant to keep him humble. You don't care about the outward appearances, speech has nothing to do with character, and bottom line is, this man loves and honors You, not just with his lips, but in deed.

Father, we know that You will always do what is best for this country. Your will is that all Your children, including every liberal, comes to You. We don't know Your plans, but we know because of the sins of our nation we deserve judgment. We ask, before You lift Your hand of judgment over this nation, that You be merciful and give us one more generation. Just as Your children wandered the wilderness for 40 years, because they forgot Your wonderful works, we too have wandered away from You. But, Lord we do remember Your compassion. You forgave them over and over. Please forgive us once more.

We also pray that You will sent a great revival. One that will effect every person and every family in this nation. We pray that You be our leader and let us hear Your voice for direction. Father, we thank You that You even hear our prayers and pleas. Be merciful one more time Lord. And again, we humbly ask that You begin this revival by giving us a Godly leader.

Amen

These are the most eloquent and sincere prayers! I am a very humble and ineloquent (is that a word?) Christian and I am so grateful for the talent all of you have for putting your prayers into words to Share with the rest of us who are with you, and with God.

Thank you so much.

Dear Lord, we thank you that we live in this great nation where we can have a say in who our leaders will be. Please bless all of those who've been campaigning so hard on both sides, the winners and the losers. Thank you that there are people willing to run for the various offices in the land.
Special request, please help President Bush and Vice President Cheney win all of their battles, foreign and domestic, in Jesus Holy Name. Amen.

Before I start my 9-10 a.m. prayers, I would like to leave this with all you prayer warriors.

Psalm 21
The king shall joy in thy strength O Lord; and in thy salvation how greatly shall he rejoice!
Thou hast given him his heart's desire, and hast not withholden the request of his lips. Se'lah.
For thou preventest him with the blessing of goodness, thou settest a crown of pure gold on his head.
He asked life of thee, and thou gavest it him, even length of day for ever and ever.
His glory is great in thy salvation; honour and majesty hast thou laid upon him.
For thou hast made him most blessed for ever; thou hast made him exceeding glad with thy countenance.
For the king trusteth in the Lord, and through the mercy of the most High he shall not be moved.
Thine hand shall find out all thine enemies: thy right hand shall find out those that hate thee.
Thou shalt make them as a fiery oven in the time of thine anger; the Lord shall swallow them up in his wrath, and the fire shall devour them.
Their fruit shalt thou destroy from the earth, and their seed from among the children of men.
For they intended evil against thee: they imagined a mischievous device, which they are not able to perform.
Therefore shalt thou make them turn their back, when thou shalt make ready thine arrows upon thy strings against the face of them.
Be thou exalted, Lord, in thine own strength, so will we sing and praise thy power.

Amen

My husband and I been singing the great hymns of FAITH for days now. This particular Hymn " God Of Our Fathers" has been one that seems to minister to us the most. Thank you for adding it to this thread.

"He's a man who is imperfect, maybe his mis-speech is meant to keep him humble"

Moses said to the LORD , "O Lord, I have never been eloquent, neither in the past nor since you have spoken to your servant. I am slow of speech and tongue." The LORD said to him, "Who gave man his mouth? Who makes him deaf or mute? Who gives him sight or makes him blind? Is it not I, the LORD ? Now go; I will help you speak and will teach you what to say." Exodus 4:10-11 NIV

The verse of a old hymn is on my lips right now...singing

" Oh behold the MAN OF SORROWS, OH behold HIM in plain view, LO HE IS THE MIGHTY CONQUEOR, SINCE HE RENT THE VAIL IN TWO, Lo HE IS THE MIGHT CONQUEOR, since He rent the vail in two."!!!!

Praising God that He alone has the victory. This will be VICTORY in JESUS and JESUS alone today.
