If there ever was a band that should have given it up long ago, this is them...

"The band will not be performing for John Kerry. Unfortunately, he (Steven) volunteers his own services, and he volunteered the services of the band, but unfortunately at the time, I think he forgot to discuss it with the rest of us. And everybody has their views and feelings politically obviously, we don't all agree and so, you know, we couldn't come to a, a decision, and so it was decided not to get done."THAT is absolutely friggin' awesome!

Edwards wouldn't have enjoyed "Dude Looks Like A Lady".

Whatever you may say about Steven Tyler, he did produce Liv, so you have to give him props for that.

Q. What do you call a guy who hangs out with a band?
A. A Drummer.
If a Drummer is Not Drumming in the forest and Kerry Loses does anyone care?

John Kerry on Aerosmith
"I soooo enjoy the lyrics of Aeroflot. I think they speak to the young people. I especially enjoy their remake Train Kept a Rumblin. The first time I heard Aeroflot's version, I thought, my garsh, that reminds me of listening to the Backyard Birds while I floated up the Mekong into Cambodia Christmas Eve with the Hessian CIA operative on board.
But my wife's personal fave (if I can borrow the modern lingo) her fave would be that classic 60's song Floatin In the Sand. I remember singing that song to her on our honeymoon."

Why would Kerry want them? They had a song called "Eat The Rich". Does Kerry want to be eaten?

Between Curt coming out for Dubya, and Steven's own band telling him to take a hike, I'm pretty upbeat. It just seems like nothing can go Kerry's way, doesn't it? LOL

Thank you, thank you!! Aerosmith is my all time FAVORITE band! I am sooo glad about this! Whooo!!

I have these warm words of consolation for the heart-broken Kerry campaign:
Hahahahahahahaha
To: Fatalis
Some of them live not to far from me in Norwell, MA. A very conservative town. One of them (the drummer I think) owns a great restaurant in the town (Mount Blue) that features live bands on the weekends. I think I'll be eating there more often now!
