Presidential candidate Senator John Kerry wins the election on Tuesday, he probably shouldn't invite AEROSMITH to play for him. Kerry wanted AEROSMITH to play the Democratic convention in Boston in late July, but the band was on tour in Japan, so frontman Steven Tyler said they'd play the inaugural if Kerry won. However, drummer Joey Kramer told Launch that there won't be any such appearances. "The band will not be performing for John Kerry. Unfortunately, he (Steven) volunteers his own services, and he volunteered the services of the band, but unfortunately at the time, I think he forgot to discuss it with the rest of us. And everybody has their views and feelings politically obviously, we don't all agree and so, you know, we couldn't come to a, a decision, and so it was decided not to get done."

Thank you, thank you!! Aerosmith is my all time FAVORITE band! I am sooo glad about this! Whooo!!
The elf ears were two of the best features!
Looks like not all of them completely lost their brains to drugs....
I intend to call the local Kerry office tomorrow night, as for President Kerry, and then start laughing -- a big, rolling belly laugh like the big black bald guy in those old 7-Up commercials used to do.
A toast to tomorrow's landslide and wiping that smirk off the bastards' faces once and for all.
I find myself listening to more recent Scandinavian Death/Thrash/Black metal now though. The older I get, the younger I get. I love it. Come to Japan sometime and party with some real rockers!!!!!
Twisted Sister seems more fitting for Kerry.
" Come to Japan sometime and party with some real rockers"
I'm in Japan , but down south in Kyushu . Get up to Tokyo once a year . Hey -I'm a Guinness fan as well . Let's meet next time I'm up there !
Give any monkey two sticks and you've got a drummer...but if you take one away you've got a band leader.
Saw their guitarist at the Metallica show in November. No one remembers them here either though. One of the famous Japan break-out false start bands.
>>Remember Loudness?
>>Me neither.
The band really supports the troops, and has done some nice things for them; they taped a thank you video for the troops during a concert, and they've donated 100+ concert tickets to the troops once.
Since there will be no Kerry inaugural, how about Alice Cooper for W's re-inaugural. He's a pubbie and a Christian. And he rocks!
Give any monkey two sticks and you've got a drummer...but if you take one away you've got a band leader.
Paging Neal Pert
"To me, it doesn't matter if they're right wingers, capitalists, or what...their music sucketh."
Well, I can't argue with that. LOL.
Especially if the lyrics were personalized to "Dude Looks Like a Breck Girl"
Then, I was thinking.....
"Dude's wife looks like three-eighty".
Maybe Queen will play fat bottom girls for the wives!
Dude's wife looks like three-eighty".
Bravo!
