Poll closing times for selected states. From San Jose Mercury News. Anyone noticing any necessary corrections please point them out. For states straddling time zones, the time given is for the westernmost part of the state. I guess there should be a warning like, "Subject to extension by decree of local rat government officials." All times PST:
4:00
New Hampshire
Maine
Florida
4:30
Ohio
Arkansas
5:00
Missouri
New Jersey
Pennsylvania
6:00 Michigan
Colorado
New Mexico
7:00
Iowa
Nevada
8:00
California
Oregon
Hawaii
I think that's 5PM Pacific.
Two of the first states to close early and start reporting results are Indiana and Kentucky. Bot are likely to go big for Bush, but watch for the congressional races. Connecticut is also an early state to report results.
Isn't FL in 2 time zones?
If this is Pacific time then move Florida to 5:00, as the Panhandle polls close at 7pm CST.
