If they wanted an "election eve" story, they're a day late if they're releasing it tomorrow. Not only that, but most American's will be waiting in lines at the Polls tomorrow. Who's going to see it?

NY Times has become the left Weekly World News

Let's be honest, folks are going to go to the polls either on their way to work or on their way home from work for the most part. These people who are the "undecided" are not going to run out at 7 AM tomorrow and go to an airport to get a copy of the NYT to figure out how to vote.
If the NY Times has a election morning hit piece, it will not do much good as the folks who need to be motivated to change their vote or decide on their vote will not hear about it until after they vote or until after the polls close.
The only thing a hit piece this late in the game would do would make Republicans made while the recall counts occur and while the Democratic Party lawyers try to steal the election.

Maybe they're just preparing 2 Front Page stories - one with Bush and one with Kerry .. that might require a little extra work.

Hmmm. It might influence some Manhatten resident to vote for Kerry.

The story is supposed to be about Powell privately saying that the insurgents in Iraq are winning and that it is lost cause. Expect anonymous quotes from commanders in the field as well.
The NYT is a rag. Can you imagine the self-talk, self-think editorial meetings. I see alot of frouthing at the mouth, emotional outbursts and extreme desperation reminiscent of someone having a panic attack.

"seems to be a consensus regardless of tomorrows election that the MSM has to be made to pay for the duplicity they have shown in the whole election"
Rush was talking about this today. He has said all along that he believes this election will be as much about the WOT as it will be about the public's disgust with the MSM.

That's not a new story - I've already read that on the internet. If that's what they're running with .. they're a day late and a dollar short - as usual.
Hmmmm? Wasn't this a conversation which was OVERHEARD by someone .. and you know how reliable they are.

Or .. maybe they'll go with the Cronkite statement that it was Karl Rove who arranged with Osama to give the speech.
