I agree. But my poor deprived child is generally stuck listening to the local country music station while she is in the car. That's my concession to her because she doesn't particularly like talk radio......to which I am addicted.

I went to church one day and some woman had a kid that wouldnt shut up in back. I finally heard her cuss the F word at the top of her lungs. Everyone heard it.
No one can hold a muscial candle to WAM, though. I suspect we both agree on that one.

LOL! I don't know if they still do it, but years ago, a Pittsburgh radio station did just that thing as a Thanksgiving stunt - dropped frozen turkeys out of a helicopter. People seemed to get a kick out of it.

My husband and I are both from rural PA - my family still lives in the Milton area (I was born and raised in Lewisburg) and he is from Oil City (northwest PA). Hope it was none of our neighbors. :)
We also used to live in Queens when we were first married - Long Island City. I worked in New Hyde Park and he worked in the Village.
He's bonified.

I saw Jimmy Carter's campaign advance team in their underwear drinking martinis in a hotel suite. In my defense, I only went there to pick up a full page ad and a check when I worked for the local daily.

My husband is not a big cat person.........although after the 3 strays that had camped out in our barn for a while last fall disappeared he was upset about it.
I have new neighbors across the road and found out that their mother operates a nearby cat rescue program where they spay and neuter stray cats and then let them loose again. I'm going to try and get up with her this weekend and let her know I'm willing to take on a couple for her if she wants.
What she is doing is wonderful......she works with a local vet and all costs are covered by donations from patrons of various shops in town. They have done over 500 in less than 3 years.
