Being a french citizen, I'm one of 20% of the french population who fully support your president. 20% might not seem to be alot but it's better than nothing! (smiles) : thats about 12 millon french citizens! Rather good if you think about it.

I am astounded to learn that as many as 20% of the French people support us. Can this be true? We hear of nothing but hatred from your country. You can have no idea how interesting and exciting it is to suppose that 20% of Frenchmen actually do not burn with furious hatred for us. If this fact were widely known, there would be much more understanding between our countries. Thank you very much for letting us know.

My grandfather died 20 years ago in Paris, he was a tough WWI veteran and one of that 20% in France who greatly treasured the role of America in the world and could not understand how most of his countrymen continued to slide into socialist peacenik miasma, generation after generation.....
