There is nothing wrong with veggies. I love them and grow a garden cuz i like em fresh.

But pinheads that think meat is murder are wackos

Yes, the article didn't explicitly rule out cheese, but it did say butter was banned, so I suppose cheese is verboeten too.

I could live with this. I'm 80% vegetarian anyway (the other 20% being fish and sausage). Vegans cut out dairy, but I wouldn't mind such a scenario.

"...some soy-based cheese substitute..."

Have you ever tasted that stuff? Like recycled plastic.

"I'd just bring a can of chili from home..."

Sounds like they'd fire any brown-baggers who brought in contraband.

I did a whole food wellness program which was great...for about two weeks. It cleans your system

What do you have to do on that program?

I go on food kicks where my meat/vegetable intake switch by as much as 90% one way or another, even no meat for short periods of time.

I've learned to stir fry a killer curry with fried tofu, it's actually quite edible, to the point of tasty. And 6lbs of firm tofu costs $5 so it's also cheap way to obtain protien.

To each his own.

Good God...I wouldn't work for this company for any price.

You have it, with this bid for political correctness int he cafeteria, no conservative meat eater is gonna ever make a promotion over a liberal PETA supporter.

This company is just a bad as any other company that discriminates, only they are discriminating for the left, so there will be no lawsuits.

Vegetables are what food eats.

"I don't know about all of them but from those I do know, that sentence reads like a Who's Who of pinheads."

I think you're on to something. We need some research to determine if liberalism and wacko behavior might be linked to an absence of meat in one's diet.

Who is being treated for pancreatic cancer. Did he go vegan before or after his illness? As if eating vegan will make us immortal...

Does anyone recall a guy who used to eat wild hickory nuts on TV commercials. Can't recall his name, but I remember he keeled over of a heart attack at a fairly young age.

"I believe this cr*p, so my employees have to live with it, too."

What a total di*k. Yet another reason I can't stomach such people.

Soy steaks and soy sloppy joes, veggie burgers, nachos and other meatless, eggless, butter-free delicacies are cooked daily using heavy bags of texturized vegetable protein.

Ugh. The first employee to develop thyroid problems ought to sue this guy into oblivion.

If that doesn't sound so great, consider this: It's all free.

There's no such thing as a free lunch.

Exactly, if I walk past the CEO's office every day carrying food he knows isn't from his cafeteria, how are my promotion possibilities affected? If this is how he feels about just food, how about politics? How will he feel about the Bush/Cheney bumper sticker?
