Annan, El Baradei Plan to Ambush Bush
NewsMax ^ | 10/31/04 | Carl Limbacher

Is it any coincidence that Mohammed El Baradei is set to address the UN on Monday -- the day before the U.S. election?

Probably not.

For some time UN General Secretary Kofi Annan has been seething over the Bush administration's decision to go to war with Iraq -- despite the fact Saddam Hussein flouted UN resolutions for over a decade.

On Monday, El Baradei, who heads the UN's nuclear weapons control agency, the IAEA, will be given the forum of the UN's General Assembly to present his annual report.

No doubt he will reinforce claims that Iraq had no weapons of mass destruction program.

Already, El Baradei has butted into US politics by having his spokesman speak twice this past week to CNN and the AP about the Al Qaaqa explosives story.

An administration source tells NewsMax that "it is very likely that El Baradei will not be able to resist making comments about US responsibility for the missing explosives the day before the election."

Our source also expects El Baradei will follow his speech with an impromptu press conference and offer some hostile remarks about the Bush administration.

Bush should go to the UN tomorrow and personally announce to Annan his intention to quit this worthless, leftist farce and inform the UN that they will need to depart America by the end of the year.

Kofi got kicked off Saddam's gravy train, no wonder he is upset with Bush.

I hope the Republicans will be ready to point this out on Monday, to put Kofi's speech in context.

Anything coming out of the UN is anti USA.

Those of us supporting GWB are hardly going to be swayed.

They are playing a risky game. If they pull out all the stops, and Bush still wins election. Then they are toast. Bush tends to have a memory.

America is comprised or compromised by those who wish us to be under UN authority and do away with our Constitution..

They are running one of their can'o'dirts for president....

Tues will decide if he gets in...

Later we will decide whether or not we will let he and his boss Soros will get away with it...

IMO

I have a feeling that Bush's 2nd term will continue to treat the UN kid gloves. Except this time there's gonna be a horseshoe in each glove.

Any move by Bush to counter or confront the UN would have been spun by the UN MSM press as bellicose and arrogant and could have cost votes.

That won't be a problem after Tuesday, IMO.

My personal opinion is that since the press has tried to convince the world that Bush is a bastard, he ought to at least entertain their suspicions.

"For some time UN General Secretary Kofi Annan has been seething over the Bush administration's decision to go to war with Iraq"

Let's not stop there...Don't forget Russia, France and Germany. As Rush L. has so eloquently stated, this triumvirate, along with the UN, constitutes the REAL "Coalition of the Bribed"...as the UN Oil For Food scandal has made abundantly clear.

There will be a backlash BIG TIME! Enough US voters will not be happy with such a blatant attempt to manipulate OUR election.

Only the UN would appoint a America-hating Muzzie to be its nuclear watchdog.

First OBL, now the UN is about to spew the Dem talking points? Isn't this rich and possibly dangerous. Hopefully the UN will restrain itself from meddling in our election.

When an outsider attacks the US President, the president is strengthened politically. I hope Annan does it.

Abolish the UN ~ Now!

I second that! Turn the UN headquarters into a vacant lot.

Exactly. Recall what happened a couple of weeks ago when the lefty filth at the Guardian(UK) undertook that letter-writing campaign to citizens of Clark County, OH? Basically one response, bi-partisan: ''Butt out, a&&holes!''

Bring it on, Koffee Kan.

I think an attack on Bush from the UN will be seen as a good thing by all clear thinking Americans. The UN want to reduce our strength and position in the world and WE WANT TO KEEP IT. The UN is OUR ENEMY.
