Channel 10 in Miami is currently having a round table discussion (Michael Putney, Host) discussing Florida's role in the Presidential Election...
They were going back and forth...and they had a political reporter on (didn't catch his name) who said that he had just gotten off the phone with a Top Republican and the Pub told him that in the early voting Bush is ahead by 125,000 votes or so....when he was asked of what evidence he had...The reporter said that they looked at the demographics of the voters and PARTY REGISTRATION and that gave them a "conservative" estimate of a 125,000 vote Bush Lead.
Here is the kicker....the reporter said that he checked with Dems and they did not deny those facts.
Wooohooo! Go BUSH CHENEY!
Thank you....thank you...thank you! I heard a pollster yesterday on Fox say that early voting was going 2 to l for Kerry...made me sick and I couldn't sleep!
Excellent!
Good!!!!
Now, make sure the rats dont cheat.
Not sure WHAT to believe, but I'm curious about why it SEEMS at this point Bush is going to win FLA. Jeb won big in 2002, beyond the predictions. Any Floridians have any theories why it looks good for W? (If you think that.) I am setting aside the hurricane situation--Any other factors?
Just curious: what's the total voting pop of FL, and what is the estimated early voting pop?
This exciting if true. I just hope that some states fall early into the red column so that others will follow their lead. If Bush snags FL, bye bye Kerry.
Oh...they WILL cheat.....and IT WON'T MATTER.
We are kicking their ass.
Now you people in Ohio get your stuff together and lets bury this turd (Kerry).
Is that figure for the Miami area only? I understood from other posters that Miami is a Republican area. Am I wrong in that?
If this is exit polling, then it's just exit polling.
The early votes aren't actually being counted yet,
as far as I know.
In any case, it may only be an indicator of which
party's voters tend to vote early.
Another confounding factor is that Dem cross-over
voters (voting for Bush) may be very unlikely to
reveal publically what they did in the voting booth.
So even an "accurate" exit poll might not be accurate.
Everyone needs to stay on plan. Verify your registration
on Monday, and vote on Tuesday (unless you already have).
Expect the legacy media to spin the polls radically,
in either direction, to discourage GOP voters, and
motivate Dem voters.
I had heard another person on FOX say that Bush was leading in the early polling. I understand that the Republicans did an excellent job in both Florida and Ohio registering new voters. Hopefully, it's all over Tuesday with a big Bush win. I won't be able to sleep well until it's over.
Good stuff. Now on tuesday I hope every Bush supporter votes before they go to work. I don't want exit polling data at 5pm saying the sate is a toss up. I'm begging everyone across America, get to the polls in the morning. This could give us momentum all day long. Jim
Pretty simple....ALOT of Bush voters didn't show up in 2000...and the Gorebots did alot of fraud in 2000.
When those Bush/Conservative voters saw that Gore almost won the election in 2000 by almost winning Florida...I think that made them nervous and they are now more energized to not allow a Democrat to win this state.
Pub Turnout and Energy in Florida is at a fever pitch.
I don't believe it. I do believe these votes are being counted right now as we type in here. IMHO
Second, my daughter, a screaming liberal since college, is complaining that all of her neighbors are trying to change he mind into voting Bush.
Not saying blowout here in West Kendall, but not as close as liberals would have you think. Still, Make Sure You Get Out And Vote Republican Tuesday!!!
I am actually getting sick over this election...not sure I can even watch the returns after I get home from poll watching! I may have to post my telephone number so someone can call me and tell me it's okay!
There was a Dem spinner on Fox this AM that told just the opposite story.
To all of you who live in the battleground states, especially OH and FL:
Please do your best to help reelect the president.
I live in South Carolina, and I have voted. Our state is surely a Bush's country.
Second, my daughter, a screaming liberal since college
I got one of these critters too! Ha!
