John Kerry said Sunday that he's "outraged" that anyone would think the re-emergence of Osama bin Laden on a terror video released Friday may hurt his chances in next Tuesday's election.
"I'm outraged that he has appeared," Kerry told ABC News anchor Peter Jennings. "I'm outraged that he inserts himself in any kind of way into the electoral process of America."
Asked about comments from both his campaign and team Bush suggesting that the bin Laden tape gives the president a big boost in the closing days of the campaign, Kerry told Jennings, "I think it's unfortunate that anybody puts Osama bin Laden into any political context in the United States' election." When reminded that his surrogates were the first to address the bin Laden tape in a political context, Kerry said, "Well, I don't want them doing that. I think that's wrong. I think that every American is outraged at the sight of Osama bin Laden, and anything that he says about the American electoral process."
In fact, minutes after al Jazeera aired the terror tape, Kerry himself politicized the news, saying that bin Laden's continued survival was the result of Bush "outsourcing" the hunt for the terror chief in December 2001.

Kerry's ... votes to weaken the military are predictable. Anyone who meets the Viet Cong Commies secretly (when coincidentally honeymooning in Paris) while his compatriots are fighting against them has to be suspect to aiding and abetting the enemy and giving them comfort..... Just so you know, it's now been confirmed and reported that the 'Kerrys' WERE NOT in Paris for their honeymoon. They honeymooned in Jamaica or Bermuda (can't recall exactly) BEFORE the Paris trip. Ergo, one must assume that the sole purpose of the Paris trip was to meet with the Commies.

Just a take-off on the ridiculous Cronkite Theory that Rove had something to do with the Bin Laden tape. It's a joke. You know, Rove as Bin Laden reading democratic party talking points on tape.

He'll still be in the Senate. When he loses on Tuesday, I hope he'll do the honorable thing and resign from the Senate. He is responsible for splitting the nation. To start the healing process, he has no alternative but to resign (and accept a teaching position at Columbia).

Are you expecting Kerry to do something that Joe "the conscience of the Senate" Lieberman hasn't?

"...until 2006 when he will be defeated as Senator."
He almost lost against Governor Weld a few years ago, but The Boston Globe and the local media gave a lot of cover and support to Kerry. Weld is a serious RINO but he is considerably more charismatic than Kerry ever could be.
By the way, Kerry will be running again in 2008 not 2006!

He might not still be in the Senate. His proven past actions make him ineligible to serve. After Bush wins, the spirit of reconcilliation should not extend to him. He should be prosecuted for his traitorous crimes and sentenced accordingly. End of Kerry story. Finit.
It doesn't really matter if Kerry stays in the Senate. It's not like he really *does* anything there. Look at his Senate record!
