MN Television Commercial Makes It Look Like Bin Laden Endorses Bush
Crush Kerry ^ | October 29, 2004 | Crush Kerry

Hat tip to CRUSHKERRY:

An independent group of Leftists have begun running a television spot in Minnesota that depicts Osama bin Laden talking before the camera speaking in Arabic, but with a false translator urging voters to support his buddy George W. Bush. It is the singular most repugnant spot in the history of television advertising. So here’s the advertiser’s home number … 612-821-0393 … call them and tell them they are swine.

Has anyone actually seen it on TV?

Send it to the media. Fox News Watch covers these kinds of tactics. So does Fox & Friends (sometimes) and Brit Hume. That way it will get national attention.

Fox did cover the "special olympics" Bush ad and the "firefighter vs. blacks" ads.

I just searched and didn't find anything about this ... "laden" "bush" "commercial." Don't worry about it - this is the first time *I've* seen it :)

Isn't it funny, for all the millions Move0n etc. spent on hate ads, and Kerry is polling no more than his base. In the end, its pretty clear all these hate ads served more to stir up the Republican base than convince any voters to vote for Kerry.

If this commercial resonates with anybody in the electorate, they are way too far gone to ever vote for us.

I am glad it is a commercial - shows what the 'loyal opposition' is all about. That alone should get our side some new recruits.

If it makes you angry, then it makes MN swing voters angry too, thus making them more likely to vote for President Bush.

I just forwarded this information to:

Fox and Friends
Fox News Watch
The Big Story
Dayside with Linda Vester

I encourage anyone and everyone to follow suit and get their attention.

I find it hard to take seriously.

Whoever these 'South Minneapolis neighbors' are, they sure aren't the sharpest knives in the drawer to put it mildly. I don't see how they could possibly think an ad of that nature would actually help their cause, help get Bush out of office. All they do is project their point of view onto Bin Laden, as if that is supposed to convince the average undecided voter? It might get a chuckle out of the average Bush-hater, but how much impact would that have? Not much.

And in light of the new actual Bin Laden tape that has been released (which, if an endorsement for either candidate, is one for Kerry and/or the mindset of Michael Moore and certain Democrats), it makes this ad all the more pointless and ridiculous.

In other words, my response to those responsible:

Cool. Minnesota should go decisively for W -- but this commercial may help Wisconsonites if it's showing near the Mississippi or St. Croix!

The Leftists pull this crap, but have their periods in public over any showing of "Stolen Honor."

What frickin' hypocrites.

Could you post what station airs it?

The station has the right to refuse commercials, and this is way beyond the pale.

since they're the one's who are talking about it...

And you're right. No station should have to air this trash...
