One of the top dogs in that club, Sen. John Warner, has amnesia about "any representation" about Kerry receiving a less than honorable discharge, even though he was Nixon's Secretary of the Navy when Kerry delivered his diatribe against the Navy and other services in the Senate in April, 1971.

Warner.......just another loser Senator. This country is in big trouble when nearly no one in government is honest or has a BACKBONE!

The Founding Fathers seem to have spilled their blood for little or nothing.

Well he married Elizabeth Taylor (once) so go figure. If it was up to me we'd get some newer Republicans, with a backbone, to run for office and retire these old geezers,

BUT Kerry should be pressured to sign the SF180!!!

It's too late. The campaign is over - the SF180 won't be important unless there is a long wrangle over a protested election.

Prediction: It's being saved as a post election trump card.

There are also medical discharges. I got out on a disability ( <30%) and my discharge came when the disability was rated. That was about 1-1/2 - 2 years after the last day I spent in the service. It also canceled out the IRR time - my time was complete.

It could have been that Kerry, having worked all his medal paperwork through the Navy System, decided to work himself into a medical discharge for the three purple hearts. That would be an interesting combination. He never spent a day in the hospital for those but the paperwork was well established. And as service people know, the deadliest weapon in the military is the black pen. It has killed or made more careers than any other weapon.

Something to remember is that the MSM has relied on this Colonel when it came to questions regarding President Bush's military service and it is HIM that is saying that this discharge business needs to be looked into. Since the MSM gave him voice regarding Bush...asking him for info, it is going to be difficult for them to deny him voice now.

"Col Kerry"

Kerry was in the Navy. No Col rating in the Navy.

"... even FOX ... who would have done a special on this story."

Fox has been absolutely HORRIBLE in the past week. They have been little different from the likes of CNN/MNSBC/CBS/ABC/etc. Not unlike their cohorts, they are spinning everything to be as close as they possibly can.

Couldn't possibly be a ratings ploy now, could it??

I sent an email a few days ago to brokaw at nbc asking him why the MSM has refused to both investigate and report on the descrepency.

Have you turned blue and passed out yet?

There are all kinds of discrepencies and questions. All of this could be crystal clear in one day if Kerry would just sign Form 180. Not only has he not done that, he nor his minions will even allow the question about signing it to be asked. If asking it is snuck in, they swing around it like dosie do. They REFUSE to touch it. That in and of itself only generates more questions and more suspicion. It is ridiculous to think that in this Country that half the Country has such grave concerns about a Presidential candidate and our concerns are flat ignored. It is an OUTRAGE.

There may have been some deal to quiet the Swiftees if Kitty Kelley's book was buried. It was and they were. Let's hope Karl Rove is quickly reneging and this story breaks once and for all on Monday.

IMO, this is the reason Kerry went through the charade of "throwing his medals" over the fence. He didn't toss his medals because he didn't have them in his possession. This cover story would then conveniently explain where they were.

That's why he could never give a straight answer to just what it was he tossed away -- "medals, ribbons, four, six, I don't remember..."

America cannot have a Commander in Chief who was kicked out of the military.

I think, from what we have seen in the past via the MSM that they and Kerry and company will do all they can to spin the story. That will buy them a day. That will put us to Tuesday. It will be another question, another black mark on Kerry, may change the minds of some reasonable people etc....then after the election is over and Bush has won by a landslide in spite of all the Dems cheating this information can be used to remove him from the Senate immediately.

Not True,

In the seventies he would have been Rif'd (Reduction in Force) by about '75 as I was from the inactive Naval Reserve. His revised Reserve discharge didn't occur until '78 and was at the "direction of the President". Read Carter under his amnesty program. The document referred to in the article makes it clear that this was no simple RIF. Check it out at Kerry's site.

I don't watch and haven't watched the MSM in years.

Just on the off-hand chance that he'd display a little backbone and do something right for a change.

yeah, but I was revived. Someone posted a suggestion on how to stop global warming. All of the whacko environmentalist are to stop breathing until the air has reached acceptable levels. A cute pic of a cat sitting with cheeks puffed out. I cracked up when I saw it.
