Bob Barr recently announced that he will be supporting the Libertarian candidate over Bush. However, his book, The Meaning of Is, is still one of several rotating ads on the right panel on several FR pages.
This seems like an honest oversight to me. I hope the Admins will rectify this and pull traitor Barr's ad from the panel.
Don't pick a fight on FR with the libertarians. They'll start swinging their purses at you. Cheers
Bob Barr is an American Patriot.
Have you forgotten the work he did against His Slickness?
If you get your way, the stink of fascism will waft across the land.
I am not happy with his vote either, but "traitor" is beyond the pale. 'Pod.
I second that. Suggest replacing wiht "A Matter or Character" by Ronald Kessler. Pro W book by a writer who said he was ashamed to have voted for Gore after meeting W and his clan.
I'm guessing that many Libertarians support Bush over their own candidate.
LOL!
Suggest replacing wiht, with WITH.
That was then. This is now.
Barr isn't so bad. He is just wasting is vote in a state Bush has locked up. Ex senator Bob Smith however endorsed Kerry, and he lives in Florida now. Both are sore losers however.
Uh-huh.
Situational ethics.
It won't be purses, but they will come after you, and you will feel it . . . |

Bob Barr must believe in principle over party, and I see nothing wrong with that.
I am willing to recant the word "traitor" but I stand by the rest of my post.
A traitor? To what cause?
Libertarian pioneer endorses Bush Former presidential candidate says too much at stake not to support 'W'

The first Libertarian Party candidate for president, who ran for the nation's highest office in 1972, has issued an open letter to fellow party members urging them to vote for President Bush on Tuesday.
Besides running for the White House, Dr. John Hospers wrote what he calls the first full-length book on the libertarian philosophy, "Libertarianism." He also wrote the party's Statement of Principles at the first Libertarian national convention in 1972.
how about an ad for my bio: "Hell of a guy, the Isom35 Story" (I am still writing it though)
Hey! Thats not my purse, it's a mansack.
I'm not to sure about Barr's principles.
I've seen Barr on CNN and have been disgusted with him. And I was a big fan. I think he's softening to get a check from CNN and he has often agreed with his RAT counterpart during interviews and attacked Bush.
I don't care if he wants to go libertarian. That's not my beef with him, but in these little debates between the right and left, we need a fighter not someone who sounds like he wants an invite to all the MSM Manhattan coctail parties with Tom, Peter, Dan, and Katie.
He's hacked me off for this reason. And he knows that when a repub attacks a repub you get all the press like McCain and Hagel.
