CRONKITE: KARL ROVE BEHIND BIN LADEN TAPE Sat Oct 30 2004 16:31:19 ET
Former CBSNEWS anchorman Walter Cronkite believes Bush adviser Karl Rove is possibly behind the new Bin Laden tape.
Cronkite made the startling comments late Friday during an interview on CNN.
Cronkite said he is "inclined to think that Karl Rove, the political manager at the White House, who is a very clever man, he probably set up bin Laden to this thing."
Interviewer Larry King did not ask Cronkite to elaborate on the provocative election eve accusation.

Hey Walter, There's a vacant slot here in Scottsdale, AZ at the Frozen-Old-Coots place next to Ted Williams remains.
When your sorry ass assumes room temperature, why not check in to the "Way Cold Motel" and wait for a BRAIN TRANSPLANT!

Cronkite is insane, how ridiculous! Everybody knows we killed Bin Laden and have his corpse in a Washington basement, where he was propped him up in a chair for the video. That Cronkite is paranoid.

In other breaking news, Walter Cronkite said tonight that Karl Rove is the one who is actually responsible for the fact that John Kerry is an elitist, arrogant, silly poor excuse for a presidential candidate...

...no wonder Bin Laden has been looking so pale and grey.
Karl, as the ventriloquist, hides behind his corpse to do the speaking while pulling the string that's attached by way of a pulley to Bin Laden's upper lip up and down.
Yeah, that's it! The Democrat news is so enlightening!

I actually admired Cronkite when I was a kid. Along with most other youngsters of the day, I followed the Apollo program intently. Cronkite and Jules Bergman brought it to our living room and explained it in a way that I could understand. As a young'un during the 60s, that's what I remembered him for, despite the fact that we watched CBS' version of gloom and doom in Vietnam on the evening news each night.
Not that I wish it on anyone, but it would actually be a relief to find that Cronkite is in the early stages of Alzheimer's. Unpleasant as that would be, it's preferable to thinking that the old coprolite simply has his tinfoil turban wound too tight.

Really. If Rove can control Bin Laden like that, I've got a whole list of lesser lights I want him to take care of. Start with Dan Rather, then Jimmy Carter, then ...

Golly Walt. I am inclined, no I do, think that you are an over-the hill, irrevelant, socialist, p.o.s! You are not nearly as clever as Mr. Rove, as evidenced by your statement. Time to go home Walter!
