Bob Smith of New Hampshire calls the Bush Presidency a failure.
the key word is former
Only pointing out his conservatism, not endorsing the JB Society.
Some people are all about principle. Some are all about revenge. We know now who Bob Smith really is.
OK, I made it up, but it's a true forgery.
We've already commented on the hasbeen on the democrat payroll.
Is he still alive??
You're living in a fantasy world.
Not to mention just about as intelligent.
;-)
Dear KoRn,
Heck, it may help. I'd imagine the NH folks know Bob better than most.

Some principles!
"You're living in a fantasy world."
Not a fantasy world, just a world filled with pseudo-conservatives. Call yourself a republican, but don't disgrace us by calling yourself a conservative.
Who cares. He's a former Senator. We've got Zell.
I guess Bob Smith must be one of those principled pro-choice "conservatives." Who knew?
Glad he's a former
"I guess Bob Smith must be one of those principled pro-choice "conservatives." Who knew?"
Obvious you don't know.
"... Smith so opposes abortion he waved a plastic fetus on the Senate floor to protest the procedure."
In the copy of his statement that I saw, there was no suggestion that Bob now favors abortion. I very seriously doubt that he does. But that is hardly the only issue.
Incidentally, you ought to put the "pro-choice" in quotes. That is a Leftist term for allowing the killing of babies at the mother's whim.
Perhaps you would be so good as to point out, just what in my very brief post, above, you believe to be fantasy. It dealt with facts, and facts only.
If you don't think I'm a conservative, then all you are doing is illustrating my point.
So, just for the record, he is perfectly willing to pull a cheap and ineffectual political stunt like waving a plastic fetus doll on the Senate floor, but when real votes (and lives) are at stake, he sides with the abortionist lobby.
As I said, some "conservative."
No one who seriously cares about the unborn could possibly support John Kerry. Period.
If Bob Smith's "principles" made it impossible for him to endorse Bush, he could have chosen to just keep silent. Instead, he has thrown his lot in with the abortionist lobby he claimed to oppose as a Senator.
At least now we know his true colors.
