NRO: The Corner ^ | October 30, 2004 | Jim Robbins

Posted on 10/30/2004 11:16:48 AM PDT by West Coast Conservative

Stories circulated today that the new OBL video was much less bipartisan than at first believed, and that unedited versions of the tape included threats against the Bush family and several Cabinet members.

" Kerry Spokeswoman:
Kerry will not read "My Pet Goat" while the nation is under attack " By DAVID ESPO

Kerry campaign spokesperson Stephanie Cutter sought to turn the argument over presidential readiness back on the White House.
"Mr. McClellan needs to understand that John Kerry is not the type of leader who will sit and read 'My Pet Goat' to a group of second graders while America is under attack," she said. "

CNN CROSFIRE Sept 2, 2004

BEGALA: Will Bush tonight mention the thrilling outcome of "My Pet Goat" that he learned on 9/11 while we were under attack?

ROBERT NOVAK, CO-HOST: How many times am I going to hear this "Pet Goat" story?

BEGALA: Every day until the election, 60 more days.

Bin Laden has given Begala a day off from spouting the Kerry/ Bin Laden Pet Goat talking points.

The book President Bush actually read was " Reading Mastery 2 ," and the chapter was My Pet Goat. But, why let facts get in the way.

Yes we definitely need a kinder gentler war on terror. I am old enough to have lost my first husband in Viet Nam and am not ready to join hands in a big circle and sing Peace songs with Usama and his pals. Maybe Kerry can appease him by going to his cave for a group hug and then go on Al Jazeera and call all our men and women serving in Iraq and Afghanistan baby killing monsters. It worked before he might as well try it again!

I can tell you every newspaper is running headlines highlighting the more "reasonable" quotes from the maniacal mass murderer, such as "we are threatening your security because you are threatening ours" and "the choice is yours."

agreed. it sounded to me like ubl was making peace overtones at first, like he was almost, but not quite, calling for a truce. of course, truce to the moslems is, "ceasefire until we can regroup and get you later."

The yellow bracelet is the Lance Armstrong foundation's "LIVESTRONG" wristband.

I know it's for a good cause and Lance is great, so why am I annoyed whenever I see certain opportunistic, overly image-conscious politicians waving their arms around to expose these things?

"Just heard a woman caller to WABC radio say that she's a psychologist and she thinks President Bush is too aggressive. He needs to learn to placate those opposing us."

This woman thinks she can "placate those opposing us" through an application of psychological strategies, which just happens to be her specialty. Unfortunately, her mind is full of theory and too weak to overcome and grasp what is really going on in the world. Theory is only useful when the limits of theory are understood.

I'm guessing that the "bin Laden wants Bush re-elected" angle is a diversion. It's been well circulated that China, North Korea, France, Germany, and the Baathists overwhelmingly want Kerry as president. They want to go back to the good ole Klinton days where terrorist attacks were met with no response.

No, we fight because we are free men who do not sleep under oppression.

As opposed to the hundreds of thousands of people that the Arab League that holds your leash have put into mass graves after having them them tortured, gassed, and shot.

.

Why doesn't the CNN transcript match the al Jazerra transcript? Why isn't the closing paragraph of the CNN transcript on the al Jazerra transcript?

Also, check out the CNN video and analysis at the link in the video box on the right side of the CNN transcript page. Only time Israel was mentioned in the nearly 6 minute video was by the translator. In the remaining 4-5 minutes of the video, no mention is made by a single CNN commentator of the word Israel or the possible significance of the towers OBL mentioned in Lebanon.

Check out todays NYT articles on the topic as well. One makes no mention of Israel having been mantioned by OBL and the other article only mentions it at the bottom of the second page.

Here's the last two paragraphs of the CNN transcript:

He was more interested in listening to the child's story about the goat rather than worry about what was happening to the towers. So, we had three times the time necessary to accomplish the events.

Your security is not in the hands of [Democratic presidential nominee John] Kerry or Bush or al Qaeda. Your security is in your own hands. Any nation that does not attack us will not be attacked.

Here's the last two paragraphs of the al Jazerra transcript. Notice any difference?

It never occurred to us that the Commander in Chief of the armed forces would abandon 50,000 of his citizens in the twin towers to face those great horrors alone at a time when they most needed him.

But because it seemed to him that occupying himself by talking to the little girl about the goat and its butting was more important than occupying himself with the planes and their butting of the skyscrapers we were given three times the period required to execute the operations. All praise is due to Allah.

True, and theories themselves can limit thinking, as well.

Bush is still practicing distortion and misleading on you

they call it the Patriot Law

to Florida to falsify elections

listening to the girl telling him about her goat

This is a frigging Kerry campaign speech .... written by Michael Moore! Any f*ctard that would vote for Kerry after this has to be nuts. He has the same talking points as Osama and Michael Moore. I fear for our country.

I don't know about the OBL's tape but I did run across the following and appears what is being taught in that part of the world.

Did President Bush's Grandfather Collaborate with the Nazis?

The Saudi government daily Al-Riyadh recently published an editorial titled "Bush the Nazi," referring to allegations that President George W. Bush's family had ties with the Nazis. The following are excerpts from the editorial:

"[The British newspaper] The Guardian published what it contends are documents incriminating the president's grandfather of collaboration with the Nazis and bringing [Adolf] Hitler to power, and that his wealth was an outcome of agreements with the Nazis, and this wealth was passed on to [his] children and grandchildren in America.

"This issue fits in with the confusion [surrounding] the elections, as each candidate attempts to earn support by revealing suppressed facts [about his opponent], even in secret archives, and thus it is not impossible to verify or refute these [allegations].

"Verification [of these allegations] stems from [the fact that] business is not founded on ethical aims, and one deals with the devil if it will bring material gains…

"[On the other hand] we may refute [these allegations] if we take into consideration that it is the Israelis, of all stripes, both influential ones and those of a lesser order, that follow more than anyone else Nazi history and track down Nazis."

THANKS FOR THIS.

That's what I felt and thought but had no evidence saying it was so.

Compare the two transcripts. The word Kerry never occurs in the al Jazerra transcript.

15 people. Lets see, Four in Bush's nuclear family. His parents make six. His brothers and sister add four {am I right} and their wives make it 8. so that is 14.

Don't forget Barney!

"And as I looked at those demolished towers in Lebanon it entered my mind that we should punish the oppressors in kind and that we destroy towers in America in order that they taste some of what we tasted and so that they be deterred from killing our women and children."

Ironic coming from an animal who got his jollies from oppressing everyone and murdering women and children...especially women and especially female children.

It was 2,998 or something like that. Another stock film tape edited together for mass terror comsumption.
