Hi all, just got back from a Bush Rally in Grand Rapids Michigan, we arrived at 6 am, waited until 9:45. W and Laura were there and he was awesome, totally on top of his game. He did not seem worried, he was upbeat and very positive, the best I have ever heard him. The crowd was super, we were yelling and screaming. Hardly and protestors, the ones that were there were totally stupid. VIVA LA BUSH!!!!
Can you estimate the size of the crowd?
CROWD size my love...WHAT was the crowd size??!!
It was packed, as many as the convention center could hold, I heard 15,000 for a Saturday morning...if that many people are willing to get up at 5 or 6 am and wait till 4 hours, I like what I see.
The President will need EVERY vote in GR to carry the state Tuesday.
If Michigan breaks for Bush it is all over for sKerry. This is Michael Moore's home state too. That would be a dagger through his heart.
I am totally thinking we might actually take Michigan....
My daughter just returned from seeing the Bush daughters at U of M. She was so excited. She realized she was right at the ropes and was able to get her picture taken with them. She'll drive home with her sister Tuesday to vote!
On a Saturday morning?? I've a feeling if that many showed up on the weekend - MI is in the bag. That leaves PA as the last battleground to win over.
It disturbed me a little that in Ohio when everyone kept cheering for over five minutes he finally said "thank you, you have lifted our spirits". Usually you say, "you lifted our spirits" when you are feeling kind of down. Maybe it was just a poor choice of words, but I hope they are optimistic about winning.
I watched the Bush/Schwartzenager rally last night on C-Span. I've NEVER seen Bush so convincing, articulate, and uplifting!
Yes, on a Saturday Morning when people have a million other things to do.....I can't tell you have encouraged I am. I barely slept last night (probably cause I watched Nightline, what a barf fest that was)....
He said the same thing here, I don't think it was meant in that way..I think thats just what he is saying....
Moossecath was present as well, and he let me listen on his cell phone to what Dubya was saying. Crowd was on fire. All I could hear was "Four more years" and alot of "Whoooooo"'s. He said Van Andel seats 17 K and it was packed.
Not many minds were changed, this was just to get out the base and make sure we all vote....if we ALL VOTE, we win.
I talked to my brother in Michigan yesterday and he says they are wild over Bush. Bush signs are all over and very few skerry signs...
I'm afraid a dagger won't do. Use a harpoon.
A dagger won't do it. You need a wooden stake for that blood sucking socialist vampire.
If he's in Wayne County, Great.
