WASHINGTON, D.C. -- A Vietnam veterans group that has spent $19.5 million attacking John Kerry's military record and character bought $500,000 in Minnesota TV advertising time on Friday for the presidential campaign's final three days.
"We had some extra donations and figured that Minnesota would be a good place to put the money," said Chris LaCivita, a strategist for the Swift Boat Veterans and POWs for Truth.
Steven Schier, a Carleton College political scientist, said that "you wouldn't see an ad buy like this" if Minnesota were not "ground zero in the presidential race."

If Bush wins Minnesota, Kerry is dead meat. A telling sign for the rest of the country.

LOOK WHERE THEY ARE SPENDING MONEY!!!!!!
And, one doesn't "spend money" where it isn't anticipated to do any good, at this point.......so, things must be looking good for GWB in MN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hawaii, with it's high veteran's population, is also a good place.

My favorite ad, the "Whatever it Takes" masterpiece played here last night. I glanced over at my roughneck 23 year-old and he had a tear in his eye. Powerful stuff.

Great news! Thank God for the SwiftBoat Vets, O'Neill, and the millions of people who believed them and sent in donations. What do you bet the RATs spend long winter nights trying to come up with a new, improved campaign finance reform bill that outlaws anyone desirous of tanking a RAT candidate?

Glad to hear the ads are still able to impact people. I'm sure you folks have been saturated.
