Shep Smith basically making excuses as to why they are covering a "stump speech".

To: RoseD
Send the homeboy back! Oh yeah! A classic line...the President was very funny.
Compare this with the hate dripping from his opponent.

To: RoseD
Man, this is one pumped up crowd!

Another thread said that the stadium holds 19,000, plus the floor crowd. 20,000-25,000 probably

Pres Bush;--send the home boy back to Washington. "There is another good reason you should put me back into office so you will have Laura for the first lady for four more years", crowd cheers.

Enthusiastic crowd. The crowd sounds like one at a 1960's Beatles concert.

FOX has become downright smarmy about their "Fair and Balance position.

To: South40
I couldn't care less. Being despised by the likes of them suits me fine.

Over to CSPAN for me. Shep Smith says if GWB were to address the bin Laden tape he would have right away so Fox left.

I must say, I've complained about Smith before, but his remarks today were strange.
