I just heard on an Akron radio station that two women volunteers at the Cuyahoga County Bush Victory Center were assaulted by thugs from ACORN, 50 of whom descended on the Headquarters to 'protest.'
One woman was hit in the stomach, and the other in the arm and the leg. I also heard that charges would be pressed.
This has got to STOP!
If anyone has more details, please post them here.....

"Computer thug" a little intimidated are we? Don't blame me for your short comings. WOW, you must feel that my opinion is intimidation and you are a heroine. Lady, I was on the front line more than you will ever know. Buck up dear, or you will miss what an election is about.
Still, not one example of anything BUSH has done to stop voter fraud! I gave you a number or areas to search in, please name one. BTW, illegals are not off topic, but another source of voter fraud.

" I'm getting very close to punching the abuse button on you, Henchman. You have gone beyond rude." you call me a "computer thug" and try to stifle discussion and you want to press the abuse button on me. Please do, as I take your comments and attempted verbal abuse as abusive. I too can complain. Are you missing an arm band?

LOL! No, I'm not intimidated. Have a nice evening, Henchman.
I'm getting up early to work at our Victory Center as Captain of our Phone Bank tomorrow.
Good night.

This is sick. I'm lugging my digital camera everywhere I go, not only because I work in a photo lab for the time being but in case if I see any shenanigans like thoe you just posted. This is getting out of hand, sometimes I feel like we are in 1859 or 1860. B-P I hope President Bush wins in a landslide, at least in electoral votes although having a popular count helps so they can't sqwauk about voter fraud. I know the DUmmies, Kool-Aid Drinkers, and Hate-Triots have made me so bitter, I have a visceral reaction when I see FRankenKerry signs but I will never initiate force although if someone does so on me, I'll fight to the utmost.

One more thing.........ever heard of Ken Blackwell?
Look him up and see what he's done about voter fraud here in Ohio.
And until you can tell me that you know what the President has done behind the scenes, you can't tell me he hasn't done anything.
Voter fraud is being detected all over the country BEFORE the election, and that's never happened before, to my knowledge........that is when anyone ELSE was President.
(I don't think he'd pick YOU to confide in. :o)

I am telling you, if Bush wins on Tuesday, EXPECT ORGANIZED RIOTS! They will cause riots around the country. Bet on it. When those ORGANIZED RIOTERS are arrested they will need all 10,000 democratic lawyers standing by to fly in and help out their troops pro-bono. NOT!!!

And the rioters will be squashed by our national guard.
I'd be very wary if I was the rioters, last time it happened at Kent State the score was:
Ohio National Guard: 4
Hippie Protestors: 0

Thanks for the ping. Left her a message.
Told OhioW that people need those phones with built in video. Someone breaks in and dial 911 and tells the perps they are being beamed into police headquarters.
If that's too expensive a proposition, a 24/7 running videotape as used at convenience stores is a must.
This cannot be allowed to continue. The police should put cops on overtime to protect those offices that have been targeted and those that there is a high risk of targeting.

Well, I don't really believe he is a plant; some of his statements would pass as bona fides for being a conservative, which I respect.
However, he seems to be hung up on two issues here: stemming voter fraud and stemming illegal immigration. He wants it done in the extreme short-term. He seems to think that Bush can solve both of these problems at the flick of a switch, at the drop of a hat, with the utterances of a dictator. That ain't gonna happen.
The problem is, both issues are law enforcement issues which Bush cannot simply solve with an executive order. It would be political suicide, and who wants to commit suicide on the verge of re-election?
Henchman is the kind of guy who thinks that the Greyhound bus should come to pick him up in his bedroom, so that he won't be forced to walk to the terminal. Life is much more complicated than that.
I coach youth hockey. The most critical parents, the ones who explain to you how you should coach a game, never had a pair of skates on in their life.

Also, please do not press the abuse button. Henchman doesn't warrant it by any means. I think he sincere in his comments and he hasn't really violated any of JimRob's rules here. He hasn't advocated violence, used profanity, racist comments, etc. He is expressing an opinion, which I don't agree with, but he is entitled to have it.
The abuse button, much like nukes, should only be used when absolutely neseccary. Henchman ain't even close to the nuclear option in his remarks.

Yeah, the last thing we need is to fight each other on various minutae. I know we need better immigration control and such. I know the President could do better there. I'm for fair trade not free trade myself too but I feel we all need to unite because the war on terror is the most important issue we all face, if we lose, we all lose and can lose it all. This election is at an important crossroads. God help us if FrankenKerry get's in, we will be so screwed that nothing will matter anymore. Our Republic's survival is at stake. The only thing that can help us then is God Himself.

"And until you can tell me that you know what the President has done behind the scenes, you can't tell me he hasn't done anything." ... and you can't tell me he has!
Confide? Shouldn't BUSH at least say something once in awhile? No one knows what he is doing. As far as Kerry's allegation with respect to the removal of explosives (possible triggers for WMD), why has BUSH waited till now to "confide" in the American people? Www.Debkafiles.com had the movement of arms out of IRAQ to the SYRIAN Bakka Valley about 3 weeks before the War. Big secret, wait till you are cornered, then tell it.
IMHO, BUSH (and the Republicans, I am a Conservative) gets himself into most of his own trouble. If people would do what is right, then most of the BS would end. If you want to see the roaches scramble, turn the light in the closet on. Same for VOTER FRAUD.

I agree that he has no concept of the complexity of the situation, nor the President's job. Either that, or he wants another LBJ micromanager in the White House.....
And I'm not planning to hit abuse..........in spite of his 'you're on the plantation' crack, among other silly, baseless insults. I came back with the 'computer thug' in response to his nastiness and attempted intimidation, so we're as even as we're going to get here. I'm just MUCH nicer than he is. :o)
