On a local Milwaukee news station WISN - Kerry was asked to respond to the new Bin-Laden tape and bits of it were played for him and he actually had the gall to say something to the effect of:
"Well, if Bush hadn't let him get away in Tora Bora..."
Can you believe this? After he praised the mission at the time! After Tommy Franks was very clear that no one was sure he was there. After he knows we had Special Forces in there!
He uses this awful veriled threat to score political points!
I've heard Holbrooke and Begala both say this on CNN.
There needs to be a backlash. This feeds right into "he'll say anything..."

Hello....I was watching Fox and they reported that just after making the statement we all saw, where he was standing on the tarmac, he gave an interview to a Wisconsin station (we now know it was WISN) and resumed his Tora Bora charges.
Charges that Marc Racicot pointed out earlier today have been debunked by Tommy Franks time and time and time again.
Furthermore, Fox reported that while the actual fight at Tora Bora was going on Kerry spoke approvingly of the strategy.
Out of curiosity, who was the anchor? I used to live in Milwaukee and wonder if I would recognize the name.

To politicize this issue is just an outrage. GWB ought to hit him back in some way. I think it will end up charging up the GOP base more, when Kerry makes stupid statements like this.
Kerry has also invoked the "My Pet Goat" brouhaha and bin Laden saw fit to bring it up, too.
I know Moore gets main credit for this reference, but Kerry latched onto it, and now Osama.

I want to know how Kerry could blame President Bush for this tape. Does he think that Bush put him in a room and forced him to spout Michael Moore? Just pray. God can defeat even wolves and weasels. (Yes, Kerry reminds me of a wolf, and Edwards of a weasel.)
