Good for Bush. Bin Laden wants to effect the election but he couldn't send a bomb like in Spain.

This is my take EXACTLY. Team Bush should get this point out LOUDLY.

He virtually quotes Michael Moore's movie. How the left is helping UBL plot against America.

What Dick doesn't realize is that "Cheeseburger" Moore writes script for both the DNC and OBL.

Bin Laden obviously wants Kerry elected because of his personal attacks on Bush. That helps Bush.

I suspect that the MSM will spin this 180 somehow

Kerry had the election in hand two weeks ago, jumped on the explosives thing, and made Iraq and terror "the" issues and that means a Bush victory.

I don't disagree.

Clinton went on Primetime Live, mentioned Kerry once, cuz he wanted to suck the air out of the election and hurt Kerry. Clinton could've waitied a week.

I haven't seen this, but is anyone surprised?

Tape helps Bush. It puts all the focus on Bin Laden and it becomes an election of issues not men.

and reminds people that al Qaeda is reduced these days to sending videos, not WMDs.

Nope, not in the bag yet. We have a lot of work to do. As important as the 2000 election was...thank god we didnt get Gore...this is even more important because of Kerry's contempt for this country.

Look, you gotta admit what he said made alot of sense, OBL's tape just moved the issue to terrorism to the top of the list of issues in this election.

True enough, but his observation is a no-brainer. A substantial number of Americans either thought bin Laden was dead, or thought there was a good chance of it.

Now they all know differently, and it's a little unsettling. What Morris said is no brilliant insight.

Can someone do a side by side of OBL and Allan Colmes. They were seperated at birth or they are one and the same..

Colmes is an escapee from the movie, SUPER MARIO BROTHERS.

He's the closest think to a reptile-human going.

Oh, Carville?

He's subhuman snakeperson!

"There is no question that an Osama bin Laden virtual endorsement of Kerry is an absolute disaster for him."

- I agree. A threat from Osama at this stage against Bush is a threat against the entire US. On top of Kerry's now discredited trashing of US troops over the so called missing explosives is the kiss of death to Kerry and his hopes. It is safe to go out and buy the single malt scotch, sit back on Tuesday night and watch Rather and the BBC eat crow. Start composing your caustic e-mails to CBS and the NYT now - it's a slam dunk.

"No, John and James are the Zogby brothers."

Didn't they have a do song and dance act back in the 60's?

The organization that vowed the destruction of America now wants a truce. Guess who's winning the war on terrorism?

Kerry: Tora Bora, should not be in Iraq, missing explosives, etc.

Bush: The American people will not be intimidated by a terrorist thug.

My prediction as to the statements.

Kerry screwed up yet again, and I'm certain he doesn't realize it. In his brief little statement, he said that he would get the terrorists, "Whatever it takes."

Uh, Francois, that has been Bush's signature line in his stump speech for months. Thanks for again reminding Americans who the one man is who has consistently battled terrorists here---and it ain't you.

This has been the take of all but the rabid Dem spinners on Fox---Geraldine Ferraro dissed Fox News' own polls, desperately looking for some poll, ANY POLL, that had ANY tiny group that might not give Bush high marks on terror, and she finally found one, something about midget Lesbian plumbers living in Nova Scotia.

Or until Bush decided, Seabiscuit-like, to take over the race. Funny how no one ever wants to give Rove or Bush any credit for actually running a smart race. The race was NEVER over in early October.

Let me help you with some of this Dick. Kerry did not have the election in hand two weeks ago, and Bush doesn't have it in hand now. Wrong again, Dick. Jeez!

Assume for the point of argument that If McAuliffe says that, and it is true, McAuliffe would be admitting that Rove is a much better political operative that he is.

Maybe, but McAuliffe isn't bright enough to connect these dots.
