Bin Laden obviously wants Kerry elected because of his personal attacks on Bush. That helps Bush.
Kerry had the election in hand two weeks ago, jumped on the explosives thing, and made Iraq and terror "the" issues and that means a Bush victory.
Clinton went on Primetime Live, mentioned Kerry once, cuz he wanted to suck the air out of the election and hurt Kerry. Clinton could've waitied a week.
Tape helps Bush. It puts all the focus on Bin Laden and it becomes an election of issues not men.

I heard Morris and also chuckled at the Farenhype ad that immediately followed his appearance -- the one with Michael Moore repeatedly saying THERE IS NO TERRORIST THREAT. Timing was perfect.

attacks either, in contrast to his mini-me wannabee's tape

I agree, this OBL tape just helps BUSH, I hear Kerry is going to respond to the tape as well. Can't wait to hear what kind of statement he had up his sleeve!

Team Bush (and, I suppose, everybody else) cannot have failed to "wargame" a last-minute OBL video appearance. Be interesting to see what goes down now.

I think the tape is just more propaganda and don't see the terrorist actually "doing" anything - I could be wrong, since I am human - but they haven't really established their "muslim" force here in the US yet - and until their population grows and gets established - the Terrorist would be stupid to do another "attack" - Think of the anger it would bring against the muslims here - and it would give President Bush help in this election -

It was interesting to watch Racicot (sp?) toss his responses up to the White House. The Repub pols will handle this lightly, elevating it's importance beyond politics.
This tape is a gift to Bush in that it rises above the campaign rhetoric and focuses everyone on REALITY.

I tend to agree. I think their "your streets will become rivers of blood" threats are kind of pathetic, meant to stimulate their loser mu-slime buddies more than anything else. If they had the big weapon inside the US they would have used it by now. I'm glad our leaders and protectors take the threats seriously, though.
So I wonder if OBL taped his Kerry endorsement from a basement cell in Langley, VA.
Yeah, until Hillary decided she personally could not afford to have Kerry in charge of the dems for 4 years while she was trying to make a run for 2008. Her goons have done us a big favor.
