I believe that if they are going to do something, it will happen Sunday or Monday.
If he interferes with football Sunday I'm going to have to track him down myself. Oh wait, this week my Packers are to lose to the Redskins in order for Bush to win. Hmmm, I assume the Redskins lost their last homegame, so lets cancel NFL this weekend and get this election over.
Get real. That will never happen as it might offend the Muslim's delicate sensibilities. However, if we are attacked before the election I expect to see a parking lot where Fallujah used to stand. And that's only if W is reelected. If Kerry wins, he'll want to set up a peace summit.
I usually don't go for the alarmist garbage, but reasonably i think Sunday will be when something happens, if at all. Reason? I remember that there were training tapes (AQ, taliban, terorists in general) showing a door to door tactic of ring the door bell and shoot whoever answers. On Halloween who is going to question folks wearing masks?, Trick or treat is a door to door activity, Police assets are spread out on mischief calls, or--shudder to think--officer down calls (another training tactic, as I understand, involved pick up beds and trunks of cars as concealment).
I may get banned, I may over react, but for sure I want folks to be safe this Halloween, and not turn into some islamofacist political statement. People need to keep their eyes and ears open, and exhibit extra caution, because some idiot could logically bring terror to your front door.

I'm not that worried about an attack actually (inside the US). I think there is more of a political attack - AQ needs to get Kerry into office to get out from under and regroup - this is their gambit here.
