I don't care. The libs have used the SOTC" to destroy more than one GOP career for decades now. I explain they'll complain its an 11th hour trick? Too bad, Kerry had 33 years to reveal the truth to the American people and he's still hiding his records from them. This is serious stuff and the evidence or lack of it shouldn't matter. President Bush nearly lost the 2000 election for less. And it couldn't happen to a more deserving guy than Kerry.

On the original post by the Chief, he told people to spread it far and wide.

As a said in my earlier post (#487), officers do not receive discharges like enlisted personnel, i.e, other than honorable, bad conduct, dishonorable, etc. The procedures of involuntary separation for US Naval officers can be found in SECNAVINST 1920.6B.

That's exactly it: the so-called "mainstream" media will ignore the heck out of this information. Just like they'll ignore the press conference today with the Major who blew up some stuff from Qa Qaa.

In the old way of doing things, those tactics kept the word from getting out. The Internet changed everything. No matter what the MSM does, the word gets out.

OTH-Discharge was definitely an option you didn't want. I don't recall "Undesirable" unless that's to mean anything other than an "Honorable Discharge"

The entire thread has disappeared now. They want the RIGHT people to have it first.

They just removed another post that said Zell Millers Office has been notified, and they are floored, and documentation being sent over to their office now.

I had copied and pasted it to notepad before it was deleted:

"The chief got through to Zell Miller. Chief's post follows:
got through to Zell Miller's office. They are dumb founded.
Sending the info to them now."

They want this to blindside Kerry so pulled it until others who can report this publicly have it in their hands.

Powerline has picked up this as well.

it might be James Webb:

"Mr. Carter invoked his powers as commander in chief and ordered that the "bad paper" military discharges of hundreds of thousands of deserters, malcontents and nonperformers be mandatorily upgraded, so long as they met one of six easily attained criteria."
http://www.jameswebb.com/Articles/wallstreetjrnl/carterinsult.htm
James Webb was an Assistant Secretary of Defense and Secretary of the Navy in the Reagan Administration.

OTH for a Commissioned Officer is headline news. It's conceivable that he was asked to resign his Commission in lieu of courts-martial.

What becomes important is the reason for such OTH discharge. If it was stated anywhere that "he gave aid and comfort to the enemy," the man is simply ineligible to be President, and must be removed from the ballot, even if after the fact.

This is where my knowledge gives out. Is that a bright-line rule? If so, I agree that's the bottom line.

Bill Mittendorf, who was once Secretary of the Navy during the Ford administration, was there (he has a house in old-guard Little Compton). Sen. Lincoln Chafee (R.I.), a Republican and the only former farrier (professional horse shoe-er) in the Senate — so far as we know — didn’t make it.

Had it not been for that, the election would not have been close.

The MSM and the demonrats are on the same team. Time from rumor to air about 5 minutes. Our time is considerably longer.

They need proof positive for this to benefit Bush. Even then the MSM will spin this as a GOP dirty trick. Remember, the undecided voter at this stage really did just fall off the turnip truck. I am not sure if this information, at this late stage, will help or hurt Bush. Short of having the DD214 and proceedings from a Board of Inquiry or Adjudication (or whatever issued the determination),this could blow back on Bush.
