"Now I'm confused, first we show satellite photos of "Russian trucks" moving the stuff before the war. Then ABC shows a tape dated 18 Apr, and now we say we destroyed it 13 April?" That was my first thought. I figure Kerry to get back into the game and state that Bush doesn't know what is going on in Iraq. Bank on it!

I think the White House delayed so that Kerry could waste time and money running on this story.
The president's slow and wise reaction was the October Surprise.

Maybe slow...but caution and accuracy are better then speed and inept conclusions.......if sKerry jumped on this misinformed he set the table to lose the issue......
To: rocklobster11

This should have been done Monday morning. Our side, as usuall, is slow to respond. Its just not that easy. There's no way in hell we knew Monday morning what happened to that stuff. They had to try to track down the units, responsible officers, etc., and those guys wouldn't always be that easy to find. Some of them may be busy doing other things, like going after bad guys in Iraq, Afghanistan, or elsewhere.

He rushed to judgement based on faulty intelligence.
sorry to pick on you, but when you have no judgement, it is hard to rush to it, based on any intelligence (another attribute lacking in the kerry cranium)

PING!!!! The GOP should make an ad, and quick about this very point, regardless of the outcome of the story. Kerry jumped on the point that would help him regardless of the facts of the whole case.

This whole exposiveGate story was obviously a set up by Karl Rove. He planted the NYT story via the UN knowing that the weapons had actually been destroyed. He knew that Kerry would use it and now they are spring this on the the Dems.
Oh, yea. One more thing. Elbaradei is actually Buckhead in an wrinkled-bitter-old-man mask.

the 3rd ID (i am not sure if that is written right, I am not up on military lingo) is the division the soldier is from. They are talking now on FNC

Russians removed some of it, we destroyed the rest. Hope that isn't a teflon wall.

Kerry responds " I actually did say we didn't destroy them before I said we destroyed them"

No, our side has put this in the "Must Discuss" in-box of every political talk show the weekend before the general election. Kerry Kamp has been shown as a knee-jerk, opportunist, and unwise organization, and the pundits will have to talk about it.
Not bad.

I'm sure the briefing will discuss 200 tons of explosives, only a small amount of which were HMX or RDX. This will refute the video that was released yesterday of the April 18 video, showing that it is just conventional explosives, and it was already being catalogued prior to the April 18 story.
Hopefully it will also address that the bunkers with the IAEA seals were empty when opened, although that's just a guess.
