Brit Baer on Fox News just announced. Coming up in 1 hour.
Update: 3ID soldier to have briefing about collecting and destroying 200 tons of explosives on April 13.
Did Bush set up the New York Times, CBS and Kerry?
If so, they took it hook, line and SINKER!
Thanks for your reply...This whole thing has been sooooo freakin' confusing. It is a good thing the story came out earlier than they had planned on.
BTTT!!!!!!!
All his plan is to bash and trash the President. While he does that, it keeps the spot light off of his NO PLAN plan.
I suggest you allow yourself an exception. Tune in on 20JAN05 to see W sworn in.
Na...just pull CBS, NBC, ABC's broadcasting license in January.
That is exactly the upshot of this story and I just posted a similar observation (though not your imagery, LOL) on another thread.
The bottom line is our troops were not negligently leaving explosives or materials around for looting and it did not disappear under their noses and Kerry further embellished saying the stuff was now being used against our troops and it was all President Bush's fault.
Disgusting.
Newscast starting now.....man this has turned into a scary story....
Television is just one more facet of that considerable segment of our society that never had any standard but the soft buck.
Good one!
And to those who are "confused" about all of this, think about it this way: First, Bush NEVER said the weapons were taken before they got there or at any other time. What he said was "We don't know all the FACTS yet". BIG difference here. Media outlets were pissing all over themselves trying to prove they were taken before WE secured the sites. The Pentagon showed pics of trucks there BEFORE we went in. Some podunk station in BFE who wanted some fae time comes out with video of explosives at the site and the MSM is getting that "feeling" again in their shorts. Now we hear about a soldier in charge of removing explosives from the site, but it is 200 tons, NOT 380 tons, as sKerry is pimping to the US.
I suspect the soldier will back up the assertions of the Podunk, USA TV station and say "yes, explosives were there, but only 200 tons, which we removed and destroyed." They will point out that a lot was removed before the war, which would account for the 380 figure, leaving about 200 tons.
This would pretty much blow CBS, NYT AND sKerry out of the water because we account for the explosives that we found AFTER the war started, show we DID secure it and dispose of it to keep it from being used and show just how dumb all of the above were for rushing to accuse the military and Bush before they knew the facts.
Pretty much a slam dunk in my book.
No... we're not THAT smart. We've just basically got the truth on our side. The truth generally comes out one way or the other. They hit us... it took us a few days to figure out what happened. And now the facts are coming out.
It would be nice to think that we are so politically savy that we planned all of this.... but I doubt that.
"All his plan is to bash and trash the President. While he does that, it keeps the spot light off of his NO PLAN plan"
Exactly!!If he can keep the MSM on Bush it stops people from wondering about Kerry's plan for America ...or lack there of.
Soldier will say "We had a plan". Kerry will say "I had a Plan. I had a Plan. I had a plan". Who you gonna believe?
When is the briefing? Could someone please give updates for those of us who are TV-challenged? Thanks!
please give us cubbies a play by play!
Why?... so the dims could figure another attack for Sunday?
LLS
Both FOX and msnbc reporters are saying, before the briefing, that this will probably not answer the questions about the matter. I guess they want people not to watch.
There's less than a dozen MSM reporters at the briefing. If it was an admission that they LOST the weapons, instead of DESTROYING them, the room would be packed with a hundred screaming communist reporters.
