This anti-war site lists roughly 15,000 civilian deaths, not 100,000, and still a far cry from the roughly 500,000 - 1 million civilians Saddam Hussein killed.
The 100,000 may (intentionally or unintentionally) include non-civilians.
Al Jazeera is posting the same number.
I do not buy into 100K in any case.
This is a re-post:

They say ~15,000. Noteworthy is the fact that their database obscures civilians from insurgents.
What I want to know is how many of those "civilians" were pointing an AK-47 at someone at the time of their death.
the timing of this story is very suspect. al-j wanted lots of american blood in iraq because it knows americans do not tolerate war very well. americans have done very well, thank you. al-j now hyping large numbers of iraqi deaths to turn the american voters toward kerry.
Al Jaz interview with Al Qaeda leader Dec 2001
Q: "Mr. Mahfouz, you are accused of being terrorists. How do you defend someone who killed innocent people? Are you really terrorists?"
Abu Hafs: "If terrorism is killing people who are really innocent, that is, those whose killing Allah has prohibited, such as women, children, and the elderly, and non-combatants, then we are not terrorists. Just as we worship Allah by waging Jihad against those who should be fought and killed, thus we worship Allah by refraining from killing those whose killing was prohibited by Allah."
They are counting terrorists as civilians. Seriously.
