This is a little over the edge, but California may supprise everyone too. I have lived here all my life and have NNEVER seen the Republicans so geared up.

EVERY Kerry sign along the roads and around the towns, have a BUSH sign next to it. And when the Dems take down the Bush signs, another pops up in its place within a few minutes.

The DEMS are being cow-towed, and they are hiding, if you coompare it to how they have acted in past years.

The November supprise may be California for Bush!

I've been doing everything I can as well as a lot of other good people here in CA. I don't anticipate our state votes going to Bush, but it will be close. What is so sad is that the people that live in the LA and West bay area are more populated than the rest of us and don't contribute to society but they get so many votes. When you look at the electorial map of the whole country, how is this fair?

Judging by the near total lack of Kerry signs in my area, (San Francisco East Bay) I think it's going to be closer than we may think. I'm not optimistic enough to say that Bushn will carry CA, but my guess is that it'll be in the single digits, unlike in 2000.

I live in CA & my street is 1/2 Bush, 1/2 Kerry, with the BC04 signs out in front & positioned to be seen driving down the street & the Kerry signs in their windows or next to their front door, away from the street ... whatever that means. Bumper stickers 10:1 Kerry over Bush

Yes, Viet Boat Rider I agree. I'm in LA and I am seeing at least 50-50 signs/stickers/etc. LOS ANGELES no less. I have friends in OC, central California and Bakersfield who are saying it's all Bush, all the time in their neck of the wood.

I think California could defiantly suprise everyone. Heck we elected Arnold! what better way to piss off the hippie relics in Sacramento!!!!

W send Laura or the twins or better yet Condi to California!!!! We need you!

Bush could win California IF someone would chop off the Bay Area and Los Angeles from the State.Other than that slim possibility occuring, forget it.

"This is a little over the edge, but California may surprise everyone too."

I can only hope. The polls have moved in the right direction, but we have an awful lot of ground to make up and precious little time.
